... hello gardener:) ... thanks for your tip .. the stones are decorative, about the size of walnuts. I put them on the ground and then it occurred to me that they would sink into the ground over time ... that's why the whole 100 kilos down again and a fleece on the ground as a base so that they stay on top ... unfortunately it is raining for weeks and everything is filthy ... i had the idea to wash in the tub, in the garden, but plastic is extremely noisy and i haven't lived here for long ... if i put it on the fleece it will be so dirty washed by the rain, but all the dirt is then between the stones ... because they are very light and natural colors, you can see that, I've already tried it ... youtube doesn't help either and I have absolutely no idea ...

Oh I see....How thick are you putting it down? The truth is there's nothing you can do to keep dirt from getting between the fabric and your stones. However, if your layer of stones is thick enough you only really have to wash the top 3rd of the rocks so they look clean and pretty. Does that help at all? Also, when working with stones you can't not make noise. Stones and noise always mix, unfortunately.

I have now distributed 200 kilos (440 p.) on approx. 3 x 3 meters and well, I didn't know that that makes noise ... I only moved in in December and only since a few days have I been able to go into the garden because of the weather It's way too bad ... I wanted to wash the stones in a plastic tub, but that sounds like tearing down a house ... or I have to wait until it's so warm outside that they dry and I put the earth in can shake off a net ... if i had known how much work it would be ... well, as a pensioner, i mowed the lawn for the first time in my life ... all feet are still there and my part of town still has electricity. .. brava ... :) :)

I'm finally taking a break from Part IV of Spring Cleaning. The attic of Healer's Hall is the repository of all things that nobody wants to throw away. I haven't been up in the attic since I was a little snot-nosed apprentice candidate who got in a lot of trouble hiding from her Master up there. I don't think anybody's been up there since that time, the lock was pretty rusty. We got the attic really clean and I'm of the mind to have the carpenters finish paneling the walls, to have the masons mortar in a small hearth for warmth and to make toast and tea, and to have a little desk, some comfy furnishings and chairs brought up and to make it a little quiet place to read, visit, or to be closer to the rain on the roof in the Spring and Fall. I'm sure my old Master would approve.

: I'm doing just fine. I really worked hard today and so I'm playing and watching stupid movies on my "Lurking Device" with Weldon. We are pretty confused over Wonder Woman 84 and may turn to something more understandable...like the Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood movie.

My parents and I watched Dr. Zhivago up till the intermission and will watch more tomorrow since it is such a long movie. I'll be getting off the laptop and going to bed soon. I haven't seen Wonder Woman 84 yet, so I can't help ya there lol.
