: Snowstorms in the Sierra Nevada in June aren’t unheard of, I once planned a fishing trip with Bosco th Huntington Lake for June 9 a few years ago and we got three feet of snow, closing all roads. By the time we got there, the lake was half frozen over. Worst fishing ever.

We even got a couple of inches on the 4th of July one year. This year the unusually dry, warm Spring has fooled many trees into blooming early. No bees are out of the ground to pollinate them yet and so I was outside cross pollinating pear flower buds with a paint brush before covering all my fruit trees in frost blankets, and layers of pine needle insulation.

My hubby is laughingly accusing me of floraphillia.... Silly man.

On a different note, I just have to post this:

Be more aware of people who pretend to want to "help" when all they really want to do is control you and try and remake your life in their image.

I finally filed my taxes for last year and delivered news papers today. I can have some peace of mind now. This weekend....the garden, now that cool temps have changed to summer weather. So thankful for that wind now. Just need rain!

i see here some are working in the garden (backyard.. ? ) and cause m' a newbie in this job i need help... i bought 200 kilo (440 p.) of deco stones for my japanese place, a small area with a little japanese tree, beauty in red and after throw 100 kilo stones under the tree i see... i forgot to put a cover under the stones... so i remove them by hand but cause of rain the stones are dirty... how can i remove the earth from them without make my neighbour crazy... ? wash in a plastic box is... "loud*... and after 20 kilo i have arms like Orang utan... 🐒... fft.... learning by doing... help...

- glad I have internet while camping. So exhausted from the last few days and some goofy stuff from today I’m hunkered down in my sweet camper while the wind goes crazy out there. Okay enough rambling. I’m so sorry someone took advantage of you. There are horrible predators out there and it’s awful that one found you. Also...I recently discovered Brene Brown (apparently I’ve been under a rock) and she’s great 😊 I’ve started listening to her podcasts.
