I know what you mean. Before I finally got it, I had a long streak of getting up to around 16 and losing and I would still need a week to recover after each time. xD
You should see my notebook pages from when I finally got it. I had one diagram that was like the actual layout of the game, plus a list, PLUS everything was (of course) color-coded. And to top it all off, I used the Japanese train pointing system to keep myself on track (hah). As someone else with ADD, the struggle is REAL. 😂
and : team ADD here too :D the struggle is real.
I can hyperfocus, but it has to be something that keeps my attention. Pete Says gets too monotonous, especially after like round 20 to hold my attention easily. Have to try all your tricks, they are awesome! I personally split them up in groups of three and used letters for the colours (p, g, b, r, y) and it did work but got extremely tedious towards the end. I am not even sure I would have made it without the sneeze, because I already had to try so hard not to get distracted :P

My treadmill sits in the corner behind my computer screen. The iFit screen changes on it occasionally, which distracts me. (The struggle is real!) I meant to post that yesterday but I remembered to walk after I noticed the screen change, and then I forgot to post. (The struggle is real!)
: Yay, technique-buddies :D
And yeah, I feel you, I never got diagnosed but read about it some years ago, and suddenly everything made SO MUCH SENSE. I just felt I was bad at being a functional human before and horribly scatterbrained. (I am not hyperactive and did reasonably well in school, I just was a forever distracted dreamer ... I aquired the nickname "madam professor" in my family as a child for permanently being scatterbrained and seemingly forgetful like an old, eccentric professor :D) I managed to lock myself out of my apartment like seven times in one year even as an adult etc.
Understanding that it was not my fault made me blame myself less and actually made things a lot better, go figure. I am still always happy to find new "hacks" and techniques to help me stay focused and on track, so I am definitely taking notes and am honestly amazed at ' elaborate system, I will have to implement some of that! :)
And to not get this TOO off-topic, I stuffed my pet full of food some more:
You've earned the Rooting for You achievement! You've earned the How Do You Like Your Fish? achievement! You've earned the Drink Up Me Hearties! achievement!

Om nom nom!
With how many people i know that have (or probably have) it, sometimes I feel like it's the people without it that should be getting diagnosed. Call it Attention Surplus Disorder. :p I got diagnosed relatively late, which I think actually benefited me (...now that I'm far removed from my high school GPA mattering for anything xD), because I learned a lot of coping skills, but also now I have medication I can take when I need the extra help!
I need to figure out what ach to focus on next - I keep chipping away a litttle bit at so many, but I should just focus (HAH) and pick on to go all-in on. And why am I feeling drawn to the legendary combo ach when there are so many cheaper options??
: what amazes me even more are the people without anxiety... How? And do they have any idea how lucky they are (in that aspect)?
I guess I could get officially diagnosed, but I don't see it as a pressing need, I'd rather get help with other aspects of my mental health. It is a bit difficult to find therapists here who have slots open and in general a bit of a hassle so I'll truck on and deal with things for now. With the ADD the biggest aspect for me was accepting it and forgiving myself for it, instead of constantly going: "why can I not be NORMAL, darn it!". To have an explanation instead of helplessly trying to "fix myself" helped so much! I used to think "love yourself" was an empty phrase for so long but this experience changed my whole outlook on it. :)
I am also chipping away ( and wishing I focused on achs earlier, so many missed ones...ugh!) and I am constantly tempted by the SubQ ones. Like I need to try to collect MORE things now :D :D

Hahhhhh, right? Hard to imagine. xD
Ah, yeah, finding a (good) therapist can be tough. It took me a while to find someone who was a good fit, but it's made such a positive impact on my life since I have. I hope you can find something helpful soon! 🤗
And I have a decent chunk of the SubQ sets to lend if you're ever interested!
@ Rosie Well, I am an old, eccentric professor, so I guess that fits! Congrats on the achs! I have been working on feeding Demigod, which is a 100% complete waste of sP, even more than reading all the books. At least I got very expensive AP for the reading.
I am still trying to RS a few items from SBQ to finish that newest set, and I'm working on a few game achs. I am having trouble getting a couple of the games to work, like the bug game. I am eventually going to try in a different browser to see if that works. [edit] I can't get the bug game or item scramble to start. Anybody know if those games are broken?
I'm pretty sure those games are both down. 😢 At least I haven't been able to get them to work.
I didn't even realize those games were down, but yeah, neither will work properly for me :(.

Unlocked Street Team Roadie! Score points at Street Team (cumulative) 15,551 / 25,000
I went to the problems and bugs forum. It looks like several games have been down for a while
: Thanks for the lovely words and the SubQ offer, I will get back to you <3
: Haha, that's great! I sometimes wanted to be a professor as a kid, but only because I thought you could have an old, dusty library, read all day and do odd little science experiments...the whole writing papers and teaching aspect did not appeal to introverted adult me...plus, there was a sad lack of odd little science experiments :/ :D
And yeah, the bug game has been down at least since last fall, item scramble used to work for me, so that seems to have broken more recently. I still hope to get tubular tiles back one day, I really liked that game

You've earned the Capture a Lizard achievement!
Done with that one and my Lizard Minion Repellent is locked back in my inventory
I know what you mean! but I don't mind speaking in front of people as long as I am well prepared, and when I know that I know more than my audience.
You've earned the Flight For Your Life achievement! (last tier) You've earned the Wizard Employee achievement! (2500)
: I've done the lizards the other way around, give me my stuff first, I'll knock you little buggers unconscious later xD (still working on aquiring stuff from them)
And that sounds great! I've always wondered if I'd get over my fear of public speaking with practice but I've been too shy and self conscious to test that theory. :)

You've earned the Rock Paper Scissors achievement! (75)
Hello! I was wondering if anyone knows if the Oofa Fruit achievement works? Or maybe it's broken? Or I'm unlucky lol :)
Hey ! :) I got it not too long ago so it does work. I got a bug about every 100 Oofas
