Finally got the last tier for that game! Not quite sure why I put it off for so long, I played it like 4 times this week and that was enough practice to get it haha. For anyone who doesn't have it - the achievement tiers made me think you have to reach level 15 to get it, but the wording of the achievement means you have to actually beat level 15 to get the achievement.

And yeah... I lost a whole bunch of achvs. Like... 100 or so? It sucks but staff wouldn't fix it. It's part of the reason I'm not super active here anymore.

Ooh nice! That's probably because (the item to unlock Rictus) was unbuyable for a while, but they re-released it this morostide so now it's a reasonable price again. Congrats on the achievement!

Oh wow, that is really unfortunate, especially losing retired ones. Too bad they could not be reinstated :(

Yeah... it's a bummer. But what can you do? I couldn't go through them at the time because I was too busy. I think I was working two jobs, juggling freelance clients, and finishing my master's degree when they changed the achv system. I also am a parent, so... I was busy even in the little time I had "free".

When I finally had some time to check them and saw how many were gone, I asked but they wouldn't change it. Some of the ones I lost weren't retired. But most seem to be retired. Meh.

I come back once in a while and get active for a few months... and then disappear for a few years. Repeat. Without the achvs to keep me interested, I will get into something here for a little while before drifting off again.

Whew, you were BUSY busy :O and I definitely understand how something like this happening takes the spark out of things, especially if achievement collecting was something you focused on on here :( I hope your RL got a bit less crazy and that during the times you ARE active here you are having fun :)

That I was. I like to stay busy, but not THAT busy.

Now, I just have one job. I work max 50 hours per week as a personal banker. And my son is 13, so he doesn't WANT that much attention anymore. 😆

I do have fun while I'm here, but I lose interest after a while. I was here for about 2 months this time, but I lost progress at the Bathhouse because of server issues... AGAIN. So I've just been popping in to grab melody really.

Oh, and yeah... I was obsessed with achvs. That was the ONLY thing I cared about here, to be honest. Getting achvs requires you to basically do everything on the site, so it kept me more entertained I guess.

Wow, you had so much going on! Sounds a little less hectic now, thankfully. I'm still sorry that happened and you weren't able to recover your achs, especially after devoting so much time and effort.

I do like that achievements make you be involved in so many aspects of the site. I'm waiting for the day when I'm motivated enough by the pet spotlight achievements that I start making profiles & stories for my pets 😂.

😆 The Pet Spotlight achv was never quite enough to motivate me to mess with custom profiles. I code a fair bit in a whole lot of languages, including CSS and html... which is helpful for profiles of course.

However, I'm not what I'd call fluent in any coding language. So... it is still a pain in the ass. Maybe one day... but wow. Feels like I'll never be that motivated.

Maybe I could just pay someone to do it... but... I think it would feel like more of a win to do it myself I guess?

Last tier at long last - I earned it once probably 10 years ago when I adopted a hacked pet with >1k TC items, but after filing a ticket they took the items and the achievement xD. This time I got it legitimately 😀.

I'm in awe 😂. Maybe if I keep playing I'll make it into the top 10 for the street team HST, but getting a score of 1k seems impossible. Though I did just realize that the achievement prize for my next tier is a plushie that I don't have yet, so that's good motivation.
