Welcome to Subeta! Depends on how the gift was sent, if an item was sent directly to your inventory, the event would look like "Username has sent you a ____", you can access your inventory under Personal > Inventory on the top nav bar

Of it was sent via a gift box, the event would look like "Your friend Username has sent you a ___ Giftbox! Check your gifts to see what you got!" In which case you can click the link in the event, or go to Subeta > Explore > Arctic Frost > Gift Center > Gift Wrapping > Your Gifts

To access your events, if you didn't delete it already, it should be on your sidebar. At the top you will see two tabs, one for Dashboard and one for Events. You can play around with your dashboard customisation in the link given below.
