Hey you two- I haven’t been on a lot in the last month or so before Survival but I am finally going through what feels like a million events and trying to catch up.
I saw your post about your dad. I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss and am sending my most heartfelt condolences to both of you and your family. It’s rough going when you lose a loved one and you are both in my thoughts! hugs

Before I get bogged down with work this week I wanted to get this posted! Here’s my St Paddy’s Day themed HA! I wanted to stay away from the traditional leprechaun look so this is my girl guarding her treasure chest full of gold and jewels at the end of the rainbow! 😊
Some thoughts…
Grief can be an insidious thing. I lost my only brother at 38 years old (many years ago now). He was 10 years older than me but we were very close. While I was struggling early on I found that happy memories of him helped a lot; even better was sharing them with people who also knew him.
To this day, when I’m struggling over a decision, I often think, “what would Barry do?” and it helps keep him close in my heart. I hope you find something that makes your loss more bearable. hugs
I love that you guys held an HA contest in honour of his favourite colour red! I’m just sorry I missed it!

It's really difficult for people to understand until they've been there. I really love what you said about keeping them close in your heart & memories! I do often think of what he would do or say. I miss him so much more than I can even tell you. I'm sorry you missed the contest in his memory too! He sure loved red! ❤
