A category for 'Sleeves' possibly? :) These needed to be put under 'Cape, pauldron, or cloak' and then moved to arms!

oh some more ideas: not me specifically but ppl have asked where to send in "bags"? there was no category for it, not sure if there is now (if so pls forgive me i don't use bags kdfks)

and socks! i saw recently socks have been moved to the "feet" category, but maybe we could have a "high sock" sub category? for the longer ones like to be on the "legs" category instead of feet,, maybe? ;v; a lot of site high socks are in there so it would be really sweet to have them all in one spot

Okay, I found the one I was thinking of:

Medium/Large Accessories Subcategory: Arms (for sleeves, gauntlets, etc that aren't really shoulder items but instead take the whole arm/arms)

I do keep needing to have my full arm gauntlet shifted (and sometimes I forget).

How about Eyewear?
Glasses. Goggles. Masks. Monocles.

Separating facial features from make-up / face accessories.

It was already hard to find anything under "face" but with facial features CW now being a thing it's near impossible.

^ What said whenever i'm in the face category of the wardrobe it's so hard to find/differentiate items from eyes/lips/facial accessories kinda like the same deal with head accessories/wigs

I would suggest a Small Accessory sub-category for Overchest.

Three of my cws I would put there, and currently submit them under necktie and request to move each time, and I'm planning on making more in the future. (they're currently in the chest layer, and if this became a reality I'd ask to move them to overchest for consistency)

The sort of things I'm thinking of going in there is just any non-jewelry torso accessory that doesn't fit in the available categories. Not my CW, but for instance: Going by the directory this was also submitted as a necktie and was possibly manually moved to overchest.

I'm sure there are more tiny torso accessories that aren't, well, neckties nor belts. In my opinion this is in line with some similar official items that are in the overchest layer like

I know this isn't exactly what you asked, but it is still feedback on categories. Is there any way that these 'subcategories' can be added to the CW Directory search category dropdown? Right now for example, I can filter by neck layer or jewelry category but not necklaces. In fact, if I actually do use the jewelry category anything which has been put in the necklace category doesn't show up.

Ex: If I filter for the neck layer, I can find both and . If I select jewelry category I can only find because the category that is in is not a search filter option.

this isn't for adding new layers to the wardrobe. Just for new categories for CW submissions.

i guess the sock thing is more of a rl thing (where i agree socks are a foot item) vs an HA thing - usually the feet are covered by shoes in the HA, so where the socks shine is really the legs! whenever i feel like my HA's legs look too naked, that's where I go look! maybe instead of two categories for socks we could have them all go into legs? unless a lot of ppl feel the same way about them being in the feet layer, but since most of the site socks are also in legs, it's more of a unifying thing (to make the wardrobe use easier!) I took some screenshots of my own wardrobe to illustrate my point here, just to show how it's just recently that some socks ended up in the feet layer, whereas most of them are in legs -

so uh tldr: new suggestion to change the socks category to put them into legs instead of feet?

let me ask around to the site artists and see where they tend to stick socks!

So I have a conundrum. I asked the Creative Department, and informed me that historically they've put socks on the ankle layer (which I forget is a think 90% of the time). SO THAT BEING SAID... I don't know what to do lol :') I think at least for now I'm going to leave them where they are while I get the other new categories set up, and then go from there!

oh no xD well to be fair the HA barely has ankles LMAO i never check that layer either e-e and that's fair! i'll just keep hoping over here :'D
