Hey so - in this case, it was a glitch on the subscription page introduced a few days ago, on Thursday or Friday, when I was actually making other fixes/improvements to the page. I've deployed a fix, so it should be working correctly now!
For future reference, please file a ticket if you have any problems with your subscription. This ensures your privacy in case sensitive information, such as financial transactions, are involved. In this case, it was simply a problem with the JavaScript on the webpage, so no private data was involved, but it is best to make tickets anyway since we don't know how much private info could be involved until it is investigated.
I think adding an FAQ is a good idea! What would be most helpful to clarify in a subscriptions FAQ?
