Yes they are on a completely different timer. I will do a mystery dance and immediately do a regular dance, works fine. The mystery dances are always exactly 10 minutes apart. Well worth doing them and they don't interfere at all with normal dancing.

What we see is a redirect page while the check is being done and it can indeed take longer than 5 seconds if their servers are bogged down.

The Mystery Dance Button appeared at the top of my Bookmarks. You press it and you can dance with a total stranger and get some prizes. It's totally random. If somebody gets you as their mystery dance, you also get the prizes, including CSC.

On another subject... We both brought our bears with us!!! I had planned to change my outfit every day or every other day for the Masquerade because I couldn't decide what dress I wanted to wear. I want to wear them all, so that is where I am headed.

Wow we both get 25csc from mystery dance. I see your dress , I remember the outfit before with the pants. I mystery danced with another bear and we both got 50 csc last night. I was surprised.
