Oh yum!

It has been yummy, I have made 3 double batched in 5-6 days. Because hubby loves bananas so I bought the usual quantity, his recovering from knee surgery so he hasnt been eating them like he usually does. I am not complaining one second love banana bread.

I have been wanting to make some zucchini bread, I do love baking....and feeding the hubs. lol Might have to have a baking day, one day soon. I have missed it! So happy you and the hubs are enjoying some yummy nanner bread!!

Oh I have a cinnamon jewel spice cookie recipe to die for. I will smail it to you tomorrow. Only draw back to making it, it has to be mixed by hand no electric mixer. Otherwise, you got bricks for cookies. It comes from a cookbook from my grandma that is close to 100 years old, that I am the proud owner of. I keep it in a ziplock bag, in my lamp stand. No one is allowed to touch it.

No its easy to mix by hand. I like you, cut it with the cookie cutter and it expands to a bigger size. I will be honest, my country hinny has a drinking glass I use as a cookie cutter or for biscuits. Multi purpose glass, in my house. But one is perfect size, and every one knows, their not allowed to use that glass.

LOL I hear ya! I have a really old biscuit cutter, with pointy edges, from my great grandma. Used it once, then put it away....I use that glass. 😆

I had 2 of that special glass, and one of my sons broke it. I laid down the law on the remaining one. geez guys cant respect our tools for cooking or sewing. I have a pair of scissors that is only for my sewing. Well because I keep them in one place in my sewing box. The lazy critters couldnt find the scissors everyone is allowed to use. They were all in college, one of them went and used my sewing scissors. I know they werent, where they were supposed to be. I had threatened them before, well I knew I had to devil in their man brains and talk/threaten them at their level of why I was so mad. I told them "you know how you have that special tool in the garage that only does one job and no other." I heard 3 yes replies, they got it. I said," well that is my sewing scissors." Touch my scissors and I will wring your neck like a chicken at butchering time. I told them, sewing scissors have to be sharp. Because scissors are made dull by using them on everything but sewing material. Well I got my point across talking to them, from their point of understanding. Now my scissors are safe, and they havent touched them since.

AWESOME job with the explainin'! Might as well be using sewing scissors to cut aluminum foil, when you use them on anything but material......useless. Glad yours are safe now!! :D

I was full on rage when it came to me, they dont get the significances of sewing scissors and I need to find a way for them to understand. I have lived in man land (3 sons and hubby), and always have to find ways to keep them in line. They are all taller than me, standing on a wooden chair with a wooden spoon isnt threatening its funny to them. All though slapping the stuffing out of their kneecaps might make them dance around funny.

My parents always painted pictures with words, funny things is I passed it on to my sons. So their city guys that talk like country guys.
