hey cutey you are so kind to me and i totaly appreciate you! It's been a hard year already hahahhashakes head It didnt last very long but i KNOW the rest of the year must get better! With all the sweet friends here i know it will. AND today I had a breakthrough with my lil totally harsh biting attacking lovebird(was traumatized from before i got her.). I have worked very closely on reward system and today she trusted me some and my heart filled up...oh ya and also i got some chocolates heehee((((((HUGS))))

(Speaking of, I found the other day was the first day of the Chinese New Year so we've been eating random chinese food and kinda celebrating. One of my sisters and I had previously said we'd wait until the Chinese New Year to see if the year would go okay before celebrating it. We've had some yummy dumplings and meat-roll-things and there's a new flavor eggroll thing we found.. Yum.)

I remember when we were trying to connect with our budgie when we first got her. She had previously been living with my grandmother who thought it was fine to keep her alone in a small cage. She loved the bird and the singing, but finally got worried when she started to show signs of stress. We finally convinced her to let us take her. I remember starting to whistle for the little budgie to try and give it some company. She'd bite us occasionally enough to make us bleed (we are more experienced with furry creatures than feathery) when we went to clean her dishes and tray. She eventually got better though (still had a friendship with the budgie in the mirror too though). We would whistle with her all the time. I know you Can get to a point of playing with them outside the cage, but we never really could do that because we had a cat and a dog that...yeah. So we'd move her cage around to give her different views.
I ended up making a subeta pet for her.

I know you use to be here a lot, I figure you are busy in RL I have my good and bad days, its just yesterday was her passing anniversary. I miss the old girl , and her fluffy hinny. I loved running my hands through her long fur and burying my face in it. I am on first name basis with the inhabitants of the BHH.

Just looked up how to tell the differences between a male and a female lovebired. Apparently there are like, nine different species of lovebird? I think there will probably need to be more research done to find out. Sometimes it's head shape, the beak parts (forgot the name of it), feathers, etc. depending on the species. Maybe try looking up one with the same coloration? :)
