Which makes me wonder what the point of "favorite friends" are.

I don't know what the point of favorite friends is either, but in my experience, trying to use the favorites feature simply makes it seem like you have no other friends. For example, when I favorited one friend, everyone else disappeared from the friends drop down, so I unfavorited and don't use the feature. Not sure what use there is in making it harder to access your other friends.

I don't think the point is to make it harder to access your other friends, but easier to access the friends you interact with most. I have over 40+ users on my friends list, many of which I don't interact with frequently (but mostly during holidays, events and other "high-traffic" times). I love using the favorites list so that I have a "shortlist" of my most active friends and can get to their profiles easily to comment, send gifts, etc. without having to look/scroll through a super-long list. I can still get to all of my other friends with just 1 additional click.

I don't have as many friends, but personally I would find the favorites feature more useful and make more sense if it simply moved all favorite friends to the top of the list and kept the others visible below. I don't know what it would look like to someone with a lot of friends, though. Better or worse?

That wouldn't bother me, since I only have a few users on my favorites list so they would still be easy to get to. Someone who favorites more users (ex: 10/40), may find the feature less useful in that fashion if there was no distinction where favorites ended and non-favorites started... maybe the color background could be 2-3 shades different (assuming Subeta V2 has similar menus to the ones we use now). P.S. 40+ was my estimate, but I checked and actually have 62 users on my friends list. I'm sure you can imagine how lengthy that hoverbox is if not using the favorites feature.

I like the idea of re-ordering friends like we an re-order our pets. and I joined Subeta on the same day, so they are at the top of my friend list. I wouldn't want that to change as we tend to give each other items and stickers pretty frequently and I'm used to just clicking once as my brain has gotten so used to it and it's been that way for almost 10 years now. That changes and I feel like it will end up being a mess.

I love the plethora of sorting options in the inventory and wish every massive list had these <3 I absolutely wish friends were in alphabetical order (and that inactive/frozen users were grouped together at the end) In wardrobe, I wish I could sort by most recently used so that I would have easy access to constant favorites and flip it to use things I haven't in a while or get rid of items I really never use <3

I really like my inventory the way it is by default and I hope it never changes. And I really wish the sorting options we had in the wardrobe would return.

When I first saw your post I thought you were talking about how friends are sorted when we are going to send them something. I only have two so that isn't really an issue for my but it would be a very nice feature, if it isn't already, if we could sort our friends list. Like the way we do our pets, so they show up in a certain order for sending things. It might even be nice if we could group them like if you all became friends through a forum group and wanted to have a way to remember who was in which group. To be honest not having ways to organize friends is probably my second biggest reason for only having two friends. It doesn't need to be public in any way how your friends are sorted. It probably shouldn't be but with how many friends some people have it seems important to have a way to organize your contacts.

Since it seems that may not be what you were talking about though I reiterate please don't change my default settings in my inventory. I would however like to see a page with options for default settings for various things on the site, like the inventory among other things. And then we could set our own defaults. It already lets you organize alphabetically I'm not sure why you shouldn't be able to make it a personal default so it stays that way.

This. Please, please, please can we have alphabetical sort in wardrobe back. I can never remember where I am and obviously, if you have added items then everything moves and it's super frustrating. I like alphabetical sort, I can go from the last item I used.

There should be a little dropdown menu, for us to decide how we want items to be sorted

On the drop down menu Personal Then Friends there is a pull out that the fav's are attached to. It makes it easier to comment then, click on their names during events. I use it often.
