Hi! I'm brand new here (I joined last night!), and I think I might have messed up... I let my only pet Maverick, who is a Ghostly, wander into The RIFT and he has totally disappeared! However he still shows up as my active pet on my dashboard! But when I click on his link it takes me to a blank pet screen! Where did he go? I've waited a few hours and he hasn't come back. ..Is he gone forever? ;__;

Any help is very much appreciated! Sorry for being a clueless newbie!

You didn't mess up! Maverick is currently in the Rift and will show up as being "owned" by the Rift (you'll have to use his pet ID link, though, since pet names are not unique).

He will soon be returned to you. Sometimes this only takes a couple of hours; sometimes it's the next day. When he comes back out, he will be rift-colored. If his species is one that comes in the rift color, then he will be the same species, just with the new skin. If not, then he will be one of two rift-specific species.

Oh, ok! That makes sense! Thank you for letting me know! It definitely is confusing, but I'm just glad to know he's safe and will be back sooner or later haha.

Ah! That's a relief, I was a bit attached to him already, so I'm glad he'll be home eventually! Thank you too for the explaining it to me! He also doesn't seem to have a Rift color, so I guess he's going to become one of the species you mentioned! Good to know!
