Today's MM is a bust. I have stockpiled a lot of nice things. Just waiting on an MM who actually wants to play instead of being silent. There's always tomorrow!

I think I scared off my MM... ;_;

It's not about receiving an extravagant gift, it's about knowing that you made someone happy, but when you're not getting any 'gifts' (anything at all) with no words makes me feel like I failed. I had such a dud yesterday :(

...so, as I said, every year there's at least that one person who's great and makes it worth dealing up with the rest, and that person is my today's MM. Before I had only 2 or 3 who responded at least twice or thrice and sent something nice (and I've been entering every day), but today's fully responsive, creative, communication is great and... just wow. I'm going broke and I'm absolutely happy about it. :D

Seriously, I wish people would stop signing up if they aren't gonna participate. I get some people work, I do.I signed up last night around midnight, waited a half hr and no response. Went to bed, and got up this morning, nothing.So I thought maybe they are doing the same as me and waiting. So I broke the ice...went to work for 5 hrs came back still nothing.Here it is 3 hrs later and nada

I've participated 3 times this year and have gotten nothing but silence each time :( I usually love MM and do it as much as possible but this year feels much, much worse. Not to mention it isn't on the homepage so it feels like a lot less people participating.

I agree, and at the same time, I feel it's getting worse and worse every year. I love Mysterios Melody a lot, but I remember it from a few years ago, when we couldn't even send normal messages and had to use items like [item=Hello! Montre Sticker] or [item=Howdy! Kumos Sticker] to say "hello", there was a great guide to that somewhere on the forums; even then completely silent MM were a thing, but the majority at least sent an item or two, and many were great and doing their best – even if gifts weren't expensive, they were creative, and to me, that's most important. Last year, I had about 3 "decent" MMs, who sent something more than once or twice, some that sent some a random item and disappeared right after and the majority that wasn't there at all. This year it's a disaster, I'm really glad yesterday I had that wonderful person – the only one like that this year. And I've been always participating almost daily.

It just strikes me as odd that someone would go through the process of signing up and then disappear. But I still click and give every day immediately, just for the heck of it. I still enjoy it.

I am sorry to hear that people have bad experiences with their MM. I just joined twice this year up until now - navigating everything on the phone is hard - but my first MM was responsive at least, but realized soon they couldn’t afford much (at least I interpreted it that way), but it was really thoughtful of them to at least something small. I was very happy! The other day my MM sent something small way later into the day, so I also just sent something small back their way and thanked them.

But I understand that is is disheartening when there isn’t at least something. I wish people would sign up and at least send some.. dunno, stickers? A chocolate bar?

But it also happened that I was stuck without a MM for quite a while - so when people sign up and are without a partner for a few minutes - I understand when they log off and don’t return. So that probably happens a lot?

Out of 15 days of signing up, I've had 3 MM's who participated. Like many on here, it doesn't matter if they couldn't afford much, I was just extremely happy to have them participate. It was fun spoiling them. It's now been my 9th day in a row of no one participating. Before that I had at least one participate, not so much before that one either. I can't help but wish that there was something built into the system that if it tells one person isn't participating after say 5 hours or so, then it resets and you can try for a different partner that day, but, after being here over 12 years and seeing it suggested many times, it still hasn't happened. I'm hoping the next two days are better.

I had a special one today, lol. I didn't know what it meant to be sent "insulting" items, but now I do. I still sent them nice gifts anyway and it's funny because the return items were a lot less offensive as it went on. Guilt, maybe?

Anyway, I now get how this can be a fraught activity to participate in. That being said I'm still clicking tomorrow as I have done daily and hoping to spoil my next MM silly, whether they like it or not. I just love sending out the good stuff. :D

This is my first Lumi and I've only been on here for about 3 weeks now. That being said, I'm trying to send at least 100k sp per MM while saving up for my first major wish list item. Most of my MMs have been okay, some weren't around but I sent them some things anyways, but today my MM has made my week! We've been spamming each other back and forth with so much stuff! I wish I could send them back gifts as nice as the ones they sent, but I'm trying to grab up some quest sp to send them larger things. You're really awesome MM and I wish I knew who you were, but thank you so so so much for the amazing gifts. I'm heading to bed in a moment, but I'll send you some more things later. ~ ❤️

I've had someone sign up and then say goodnight. No fun there :( I've had some fun ones this year.

I haven't had any time to participate this year, tried yesterday and got a dud, but today has been a success and a lot of fun! Thank you, mysterious Melody partner, for making my Lumineve even more festive!

After a long pause, I entered the MM yesterday and was having a wonderful partner. ^-^ Thank you yesterdays MMP, it was a pleasure to swap items with you. Hopefully we see us again, someday. ^__^

I apologize to my MM partner that I didn't respond.I got sick of waiting to be partnered up and fell asleep. I also work during the day, so I can't be on all day, sending nonstop gifts, so if I send stuff and then suddenly stop, its either I got tired and went to bed, or I had to go to work.

But if its 3:00 in the morning and you get partnered with someone and you don't get a response, chances are they are sleeping.

i tend to partner with people at odd times since i live in australia. i never know if they're going to be active or not because i never know what country they live in (: when it's midnight subeta time, it's only 4 p.m. for me!

I decided this morning since it was the last day I would go ahead and take a chance.I am so glad I did! I actually have an active partner today and have even gotten some WL items! ❤️

I wish we could find out our MM partners so we could say more,lol. Mine has been so awesome today!!
