I actually did spend Christmas in Africa once. We went on safari to Kenya. It was probably the best holiday in my life. There, they usually decorated a lot for Christmas but it was probably my first Christmas in a warmer country so it was a bit difficult for me to really get into the Christmas mood 🎄 My favourite thing about their Christmas was that they didn't really have the typical Christmas tree (which in my area of the word is usually a fir) but they had their own Christmas tree which was a thorn tree/bush covered in tinsel and bobbles. I still don't know how they decorade it without hurting themselves... 😂
My avatar today is an homage to the Maasai tribe. Their traditional attire is bright red and they dance this dance where they try to jump as high as they can. It's really impressive!
