My year wasn't as bad as many people's, so I'm very grateful for that. So far the pandemic hasn't hit me or anyone I'm close too. I can hardly wait to get vaccinated. I made some real progress on some fairly major lifestyle changes this year, which hopefully I'll be able to find the motivation to maintain in the New Year fingers crossed

But overall the year was crap - no surprise. For the first time in a long time I'm genuinely holding out hope that the New Year will actually be better than the old one - if it's not this time OH MAN! Hold onto all you hold dear!

overall my year was pretty meh. not horrible so i cant complain, but i do hope for a better 2021

My year was pretty bad with the pandemic making us unable to work for a large portion of it. We did however get a lot of family time together which was nice! This again came with some challenges such as homeschooling for my 8 year old with autism.

Celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary in lockdown instead of going on our honeymoon to Italy was pretty crap too! Would like to say next year would be better but a new strain is spreading in the UK which has made 90% of the country including us go into tier 4 lockdown again. They are talking about April before things get any better..

On the plus side I lost 4 stone in weight this year

So ups and downs I guess!

The year's been up and down as most years tend to be. It didn't feel like "2020" for me until "we," my mother and I, had to deal with a bedbug problem my boyfriend brought over. It was something I had to research, pay for while on disability and mostly do myself as my mother, while there and helping to an extent, didn't handle the situation very well at all. She had a "PTSD fueled" tantrum over it when I finally caught one to show her but we've had the problem for about a year now; she could just ignore it until I caught one and made the problem "real."

Meanwhile I've been bit on and off all this time and have had to suffer the giant, painful hives the bites leave behind because I'm highly allergic to insect bites/stings. I've also had to face my phobias and become the spider catcher and ant-detector because my eyes are the only ones good enough to see the tiny buggers. Now she's upset that I'm having him over for new years when she's banned him from the house. I haven't seen him in weeks since he moved out of the apartment where the bugs initially came from, which is why I'm not mad at him; if the building won't take care of the issue then what is he meant to do???? We're all victims in this, it's no one's fault, but my mom haaaates him now and I can't get her to see reason. She sees him and sees a pile of bedbugs in a meat suit.

I'm not sure what to do; he's been bugless since moving to his sisters and they've apparently done the poisoning and bought the covers despite not finding any there so, as far as I'm concerned, everything's been done to mitigate the problem. (For those worried about covid exposure: he's recently been tested as did the family he lives with; everyone's clean and we're all listening protocol.) I just want to spend the night with him and I'm in my 30's; her house be damned, I'm old enough to no longer need permissions for things like this.

So many of you had such a horrible year :( It makes me so sad that you all dealt with so much in 2020. I am hoping and praying that 2021 is a better year for you all <3 big group hug I am always here if any of you need to talk or rant. No judgement. Regardless if we are close friends or not, I am here for you all <3

I generally don't make resolutions anymore because I fail generally and that just makes me feel worse.

That being said, no resolutions but a couple small hopes:

On subeta I would like to make myself get back to questing daily. Other than the questathon I've not done most quests other than the weekend for the entirety of the last year. After lumi I don't have much funds left.

In rl I want to do more off the computer. This past year I have spent just too much time looking at screens.

My New Year's Resolution is to draw more of my own CWs, now that the system has been updated! I think it will be less stressful and intimidating, now that I don't have the slotting requirement. Before I was too scared to submit many of my own CWs, because I worried that possible denials would let my slotters down. Now I can tweak and resubmit at my own pace. :-)

I have never made new years resolutions, I know I can't keep them, lol.

But, in real life I want to work on my health, be more active, eat healthier, etc. On subeta I want to do more daily quests, and work on pets maybe get at least one pet all finished to possibly have a chance at the pet spotlight. Also I'd like to save up sp to eventually buy a good weapon, like natasha(Lumi and BF put a huge dent in my sp hoard, hahaha)

I'm not big on resolutions, but I do have some things that I want to try this year.

1. I would like to bake more often and with my daughter. She is always asking, and she's old enough to start learning how to do some things in the kitchen.

2. I would like to start a new hobby - hand embroidery. Perhaps I can get good enough to turn it into a little side business! ;)

heh wellll i tend not to make rl new year resolutions for myself anymore because i never stick to them/they never happen, so i'm just saving myself the disappointment lol XD but subeta-wise i hope to finally save up the last few mil (now a few more mil after Lumi shopping hah) i need to nab a set of Lime Contacts from the mil centre, i've been saving since they got re-released and it's gonna be such a cathartic moment to finally be able to get them! (probably mega-stupid to blow 500mil on a set of contacts that are nearly identical to the gold set i already have and hardly ever use even though i love them, but hey, they're a slightly different colour so my wardrobe needs 'em 😅 )

also - HAPPY END OF 2020 EVERYONE! it's already 3.5hrs into 2021 here and i gotta say, it's been pretty ok so far 👌 XD

My new year's resolutions: Start exercising a lot more or go outside to the woods more. Organize and read my reading list

As for subeta... maybe try harder to save up so I can do more for luminaire

getting a new job irl and drawing at least a CW this year

My main New Year's resolution is to draw more. I have ideas, I enjoy it when I do it, and yet...2020 has been a terrible year for creativity. I'm hoping to get back to it.

On here, and going to keep training Vaccy, get her to where I can defeat major bosses. I also want to get the Rainbow trophy for plushies! And I want to get my first CW out, eeep.

Irl, I want to focus on self care and self kindness. I don't do it enough.
