Aaah the switch is more interactive. I haven't ever used one so I would be more familiar with a snes. So I see where she is coming up short lol
I believe any system before PS3 needed players to learn how to play. I noticed this when she tried to play Street Fighter, she thinks one button does everything. I don't think my older nieces had this frustration with Marvel vs Capcom II. They wanted to know how to do some moves.
I knew Tekken, which helped when I played Soul Caliber III. Enough to have put difficulty up to ultra hard. But when my last memory card died, out the window it went.
I spoke to a friend today, and asked about his PS5. He tells me its kinda aggravating, he needs to upgrade to another new screen to support this system.
We might be able to hang out tomorrow. If I weren't saving for another semester of college, I'd buy some games for my Switch.
Personally I drew the line at Switch. My favorite game has always been Tetris, and my GBA has the best version overall, IMO.
I'll switch gears again. I'm saving money for college to study for automotive technology. This began earlier this year, but after a ten year absence. I'm glad my credits are still valid, and that the last semester had fulfilled my academic requirements. I can now focus on this new major, but paying will be out of pocket. I'm glad to have the support of my family to front the funds so I can prove to myself that my disability wont' stop me.
As a child my mom liked the PS. She enjoyed spyro and crash more than us and it was awesome having her beat the hard parts. I like Xbox the most; especially when game devs stopped being console Nazis. I like games with stories and levels. Bioshock: infinite is another game I can pick up and play for hours.
Heck yeah, dude, I hope it works out for you. I tried to go to college for digital animation. Life got complicated and since I was still ward of state i had no control what I did; ultimately. I figured out quickly though that the government took a lot of things from me that I didn't even k ow I was entitled. I could probably have that degree right now if I had known my financial situation. Just so you know foster kids = LOTS OF MONEY Mostly why conservatives push their "choose life" agenda; all those unwanted druggie ghetto babies line their pockets. Not to mention a good chunk of those kids are on heavy antipsychotics that get pushed to line more pockets of wealthy people. This machine is getting rusty though. We need a new one.
I had to read your post twice to understand it. I also deplore this system, I hold to the hope of a better one.
In my Playstation days, my games were the kind that lacked stories. Nowadays I play in short sessions, but my restlessness also keeps me from doing anything sitting or staying still. My meds aren't the best solution, the risks equal the benefits. I just do what is within my ability to deal with the spikes or dips.
Lol didnt mean to get all political on you 🤣 these days I find more comfort in forcing myself to workout than lying in my bed. I gotta say i'm pretty lucky that I was able to get off Lamictal and the other stuff they had me on, but I self-medicate with greenery. It doesnt work for everybody, but it works for me. I didnt get in touch with my inner self until after I tripped on LSD for the first time.
What I do to deal with stress works for me too. I sometimes take an axe or sledgehammer to bash out frustrations.
I may be running off to meet a friend, but also I'm thinned out for ideas to continue conversing. I could ping you on other threads I frequent, posting there can help this.
Hi ! I hope you reach your 100 soon! :) I'm still crazy about Mario Kart on SNES. It's the only console game I play. I have a Switch which I bought for Animal Crossing: New Horizons (which is SO MUCH FUN!!!!), but mostly I'm a PC gamer. I'm more adept at a keyboard and mouse for gaming.
Captain America does that too! Lol and yeah that sounds cool i figured I would make my own dumb thread cause I am old and don't know how to do things.
I didn't know that. I'm familiar with from huggles.
I'm kinda beat for today, after the weekend I need to begin studying for finals. It's not comprehensive, but I still need to refresh the finer points of pistons and related parts. I know I'll pass.
[edit]Wouldn't you know it! A niece is stay for a while, so we're going to play Mario Kat 8 until her parents come for her.
You'll do great -- you such a conscientious student!
I saw that earlier in the thread you mentioned Bioshock Infinite. I own all three, but I've not played it. I loved the first one, though. It had one of the best storylines I've ever played! It spooked me, though. 😆 I didn't like to play it after my husband had gone to bed! We still make jokes about the Circus of Value; for some reason it struck us both as so creepy and funny.
What other games do you like? I'm a huge fan of Elder Scrolls; my favorite is Oblivion. Other favorites are Medieval Total War and the originals of Zoo Tycoon, Dungeon Siege, and Unreal Tournament. I also like casual games; I often do walkthroughs of time management games for my blog. I don't do any console or mobile games (except Super Mario Kart, of course). I have a Wii, but I only use it for Wii Fit. I tried other Wii games, but for some reason console games don't appeal to me as much as PC games do.
I mentioned this on huggles. Last night I made a big step on Let's Go Eevee, I asked a niece to assist battling Mewtwo. We split its attention to allow at least one of us to attack. I knew using Toxic would make the battle easier to finish within the time limit. I suppose the other Master ball would be for Mew...
I'm watching Spanish reruns of the original series... oh boy! I can better understand my fursona's attitudes towards trainers from then and now.
If a student who pays out of pocket doesn't pass, the joke is on them. I wonder about students who rely on financial aid, how they would justify their behavior.

I hope I can get a tablet with a stylus after tax returns come. I've always been into drawing more than gaming. I was that kids that drew on their pants and shoes and any surface they could really lol
Good show, I'm 61 posts to 10k. To this day I still remember my password.
I grew up reading everything I could get my hands on, sometimes it raised eyebrows. Physics and Chemistry... That or dismantling everything I found.
I used to have that love of reading. I tried ebooks, but it isn't the same. As, I've mentioned before my living situations have prevented me from being able to keep things for long. Though I loved the vlad the vampire slayer, Percy Jackson ( rick riordan has other series I read but I didn't finish the Egyptian one though now that reminds me I have a new challenge for myself 🤣) I like YA series a lot. I am coming up on my 10 year reunion, but it feels like a hundred years since I've been out of school.
Hmm, its been twenty years since my blunder years. No word about any kind of reunion. No loss, I dismissed it as fabricated memories.
And all those toys, car parts, and whatnot lent to my understanding of my career choice.
I'm a voracious reader. I taught myself to read when I was three, and I've never looked back! 😆 I enjoyed the Percy Jackson series, too. I read occasional YA books. Have you read the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer? The first book isn't very well written, but it was interesting enough to make me go on to the next book and I'm glad I did. It's an enjoyable series!
