Oh my! It is getting HOT in here! Dear SS you are more than generous! And I am loving the change of seasons with you! The long island iced tea is the perfect drink to go with the watermelon. And I can't decide whether the pool float or the lounge chair is more comfortable. I guess we'll just have to give them both a good, long try until we can decide. 4. Outfit Not Found This represents a christmas gift my sister got me. She had been working at Tom Thumb for a few months just before Christmas. They had these GIANT white tiger plushes. I kept telling my mom I wanted to ask Santa for one. I wanted it sooo bad. Every time we went to visit my sister at work I would run down the isle and go look at it. On Christmas morning I didn't really expect to get it but there it was. My sister had spent some of the little money she had made from her first job to get it for me. It meant so much more to know it was from her and not santa. I slept with this tiger for a looong time basically till it fot worn out. I will never forget how generous and memorable her act was to me.

Politically Correct Lumineve Stories has been read to Canin! Canin says, "That made me feel some things and I'm going to need to process it."

Outfit Not Found St. Lucia

Childhood memory/song: Caroling with my elementary school's chorus. We would go to nursing homes around my old hometown and sing various carols in different languages for the elderly and carers/cnas/nurses, and one song we would sing is auld lang syne. This song still makes me feel happy and in the holiday spirit, and is one of the few Christmas songs I can enjoy on repeat. by o0SnowyOwl0o

Me and my sister and dad used to go down to the local woodlands and play football and climb the trees. I used to love spotting the squirrels there too! Not the most amazing memory for most probably but it always makes me smile when I look back on it.

1. Powder Puff Cookies are my favorite. Sorry I don't have a photo but I can tell you when you take them out of the over they are just plain white circle cookies. They are the ones I have always made for decorating.These were not always my favorites though; they were the favorite of my oldest sister.Beckie died when she was 29 and she was 2 weeks away from her wedding,. The Christmas after she died I really wanted to love them just because they were hers. Over the years they have become my absolute favorites! They are just tender little cookies. I could almost call them gentle which I know probably doesn't make much sense when it comes to cookies but you will understand if you decide to make them.

2 c. flour 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. confectioners' sugar 1 c. shortening (Crisco) 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix and sift together flour, cream of tartar and baking soda. Measure into a bowl and blend confectioners' sugar and shortening. Add egg and mix well. Add vanilla, and flour; mix until smooth. Chill dough for about 2 hours until dough is not sticky and is easy to roll. Roll dough into balls about the size of hazel nuts and place on baking sheet. Pat down the tops a little bit until they are slightly flattened Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes. About 4 dozen cookies.

1. Cherry Chocolate Nut Cookies Ingredients

   1/2 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1 large egg 1/4 cup 2% milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 3/4 cup chopped maraschino cherries 3/4 cup chopped pecans

   In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, milk and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.
