oh, I love writing sci-fi too, and sometimes fantasy as well. They're both a lot of fun! What kind of plots do you use in them? Do you go with adventure or more with exploring an aspect of how the world is different from ours?
That's the dream, getting people quickly and having them understand what you need easily! I'm so happy your day was good that way! I did planning for my work for rest of the month today, got a couple of challenging but interesting things to do.
I bet having Rusty gone at night then having him sleep during the day is rough on everyone! How much longer does he have to work nights? My day went amazingly well! I had to do all of our weekly grocery shopping and didn't get chewed out by any a-holes. Oh yeah, seems to be my norm lately, and funny enough it's always when I'm being extra polite. :-D
It was nice!! Your work sounds so gratifying. I would guess with that type of job there's usually a lot of pressure as well. Are you still working from home?

It has been really rough. All of our schedules are messed up because of it. This is his last week, thankfully. What?!?! You keep getting chewed out by people? D:
Yes, it's very gratifying and also there's sometimes a lot of pressure. Much of it self-imposed. We choose our own commitments for each three week period from the list of work items curated by the team as a whole and prioritized by the coordinator. So my pressure on myself is to complete the task I committed to, including getting it through the thorough Quality Assurance process aka testing
