Boo for fake 'Sunday'. It's crazy that getting starbucks is now a treat! But it's true, I can't remember the last time I had a coffee I didn't make. Stew sounds yummy.

Thank god it's still Saturday for me. Last week was a busy one at work and I need all the weekend I can get. Not too much going on here, like most pandemic weekends. Another home day. Ordered some groceries/basics from Walmart. Checked out Le Chateau's 60-80% off going-out-of-business sale, and stocked up on some basics. Then I cleaned out my closet and played games. And that's about it! I'm about to give myself a little mini spa day and do my nails & a face mask.

Never tried Cobra Kai, and I don't think it's my type of show, either. I hear it's quite popular. I'm still watching the same stuff. Almost done Outlander, Sabrina & Schitt's Creek - just a few episodes left in each. I'm thinking of starting Killing Eve & Ozark next, though those are heavier shows. I always like to be watching something a bit lighter in addition to the dark shows, so I'm not sure!

Thanks for the Schitt's Creek reminder! I think I saw something about Ozark and need to add that to my list. Also, will check out Killing Eve. I also watch some reality TV - right now - The Bachelor and Married at First Sight. Both weird but lots of drama! :-D

OH! I didn't explain about the shawl? It's a pattern test for a designer I follow on Instagram. She develops patterns and needs people to test them for her before she releases them for purchase. Just a few sets of hands to make sure the math is right and everything lines up and the language/grammar are correct. So she gave us 5 weeks to do it and that started two Saturdays ago... so I'm well ahead of schedule!

We used to go out and get coffee/a pastry most Saturday mornings. There was a sweet little cafe not far from our old place that we loved. Haven't done it in forever, obviously... so it was nice to get a fancy coffee. Stew turned out GREAT! Also made a pavlova yesterday so we're having leftovers of that for dessert! Is Le Chateau actually going out of business? I feel like they have one of those sales ongoing xDD What kind of games are you playing lately? Ooh spa day! We're having a spa night here. We're going to exchange massages and then pedis xDDDD

Nope. But I get the pattern for free.. so that's the perk to doing it! Finished season 10! Not going to bother with the reunion show. I googled all the couples and found out that only Austin and Jess are still together. Katie cheated on Derek! :o

That sounds like a nice little bit of a normal routine to enjoy. It's too bad you can't go to the little cafe right now. I feel for small businesses. It's tough out there. Haha, it's true, Le Chateau has a lot of sales but they announced last year that they're filing for bankruptcy and shutting down for real. It's been a few months, so we'll see! There was this one store in malls we had here in Toronto in the 2000s (not sure it's anywhere else, but it was called Fairweather) that was perpetually 'going out of business' and having sales. but it lasted for years haha. I've been playing a lot of things in lockdown! I've got into Genshin Impact on mobile, and I downloaded a bunch of random puzzle & adventure games on my Switch for Black Friday. I also recently got a steam account since I upgraded my laptop and have been trying a few PC games. Do you game at all outside of Subeta?

I can't recommend either Ozark or Killing Eve, since I haven't seen either yet, but my mom has been bugging me to watch Ozark, she loved it, especially Jason Bateman, haha. Reality TV is probably a good palate cleanser :) I have to confess I've never been one for reality TV. I Iike a few food/competition shows mostly. Hells kitchen just started a new season and I've been watching that. Also usually a fan of project runway. Netflix did a good ripoff called Next in Fashion last year with Tan from Queer Eye which was fun, also.

Oh man.. fairweather! They're ALWAYS having "going out of business" sales. There's still a few here in town ;) I do a smidge of gaming outside Subeta. I also have Steam so I've got Stardew Valley which I'll get super addicted to for a few weeks then not play again for a little while. I've been replaying Roller Coaster Tycoon lately :D We just whipped out a bunch of our old Wii games as well so we're playing Rockband.. Supermario. I'm more of a Nostalgic gamer. But I do have a few new games on my Steam Wishlist that I'm waiting to go on sale.

I hadn't read up on it yet D: :O :O Are you guys about to start trying?! We tried for over a year for a second but we decided to throw in the towel for now. I noticed the last time I went to get a flu shot they recommended I didn't get the shot if I was trying to get pregnant. Which I thought was weird because I had never been told that before.

He says about 20 words and he is constantly talking in Jesse language. Do you think I should be worried? I was seeing that most mothers don't get speech therapy for their children until they are around 3-4 and Jesse is just barely 2.

I've never tried Stardew Valley, but it's on my switch wishlist! I'm waiting for it to go on sale, but it's one of those that never seems to. But I've got so many games I've already downloaded and I need to play before buying more haha. I'm also a nostalgic gamer, so I understand. Zelda is my OG fave. I have a lot of affection for the gameboy games I played as a kid. I also signed into Neopets the other day just to see what was going on, and it was super weird. Everything there seems foreign now.

Did you say you watched Bridgerton? talking about TV with several people. Anyway, it's not bad so far. Reality TV is an acquired taste. I'm into more than I care to admit! :-P

Ewww I couldn't stand Katie at all. And I wasn't too fond of him either really. Ok have you started the next season yet?

You are his mom, you know what's best. If you think he'll eventually come around tune out anyone that tells you otherwise. Me included! A thought I had - with the pandemic is he around others beside family, that know what he wants without talking? And another thing, is he's physically doing normal stuff? Like climbing, walking, etc. I think there's less to be concerned about if he is. (Liz had trouble with everything. She was almost 2 before she walked.) It all boils down to you and what your gut is telling you. <3
