If someone came to Subeta from another pet site, it makes sense why they would think of experiments as just another color of existing pets. For example, on Neopets "mutant" is a color that is obtained by using a transmogrification potion on any species.

Of course those of us who have been around long enough know that's not how things work on Subeta, but that might not be automatically obvious to anyone else. Not all experiments look like other species, but you could make arguments for some of them. In the latest batch, the 699 looks similar to a montre or jollin; the 2327 shares characteristics with the chelon; the 1347 looks a lot like a mutated wyllop (and is reminiscent of the graveyard ruffie); and the 1031 looks like a ghostly legeica.

I'm all for making the wording more explicit in some way or making it so that the loyalty totem could utilize either miracle potion OR miracle potion 2.

Yes, I understand the difference between the Miracle Potion and the Miracle Potion II - my misunderstanding was thinking based on the wording that the loyalty box potion operated as both. Staff supervisor did see fit to return my loyalty box to me and the staff member I was dealing with in my ticket did agree that the wording might benefit from a clearer update. Something like what suggested would be great (and is pretty much what I updated the SubetaLodge notes to say so anyone else who might've misunderstood would see).

I would be perfectly fine with just a wording update to the current although I wouldn't at all complain at seeing a second potion added that offered a species change haha.

Thanks for your input, staff saw fit to agree with me in my ticket so I guess they agreed at the upper levels that the wording is a bit confusing ;)

That's pretty much exactly what lead me to that conclusion on it. When I made my ticket I definitely explained that I understood if there was nothing to be done, as it was my error, but thankfully they helped me out this time.

^^^^thisssss, a dropdown menu like the Pet Color Combos page would be awesome. Not sure how doable that would be, but.. maybe it could even allow us to create a limited edition pet like a Bhakoru (hint hint) cuz I know lots of users want one, myself included! In fact I want two, a chibi one and a graveyard one XD
