Personality: Grumpy³. But hey, he's living in an environment in which he doesn't belong, having to do a job it's not his, in order to simply survive. Not to mention the scale itching.

PoV: First person, like the reader just stumbled across him as he tossed plastic bottle caps and wrappings from the lake back to the park. He'll tell about his life journey and the importance of keeping the waters (and planet) clean;

Physical Traits: He was once a Gold Torrent but living in pollution made him look a bit... weird (Hydrus appearance: grew a bit in size, lost golden colors, damp scales, barnacles, lesser mutantions);

Likes/Dislikes: He likes to take care of the waters, throwing what he can out of the lake, helping stuck sea life whenever possible. He hates trash, pollution and the terrible thought humans have that in order to show they like something they must lock them in a cage/bowl, while nature around is not cared for;

Anything Else?: He was a prize a child won at a carnival (named Gilla after Godzilla, but with gills). The unwanted new pet was put inside a tiny fishbowl and it took a few days for the kid to get bored with the fish and not care for it anymore. The parents didn't want the extra job of cleaning the fishbowl and sometimes they forgot to feed it, so they decided to release the fish in nature (nature being an ugly lake at a careless park).

Personality: Quite curious about many things; highly intelligent, and has a great sense of humor. He is patient, kind, and wise; and sometimes cryptic when he is teaching, to make his students think for themselves. He is a masterful storyteller, and usually has a lesson to be learned within each story.

Physical traits: Genderless, although he considers himself as 'male' and uses he/him pronouns. Tungsten is a Custom Common Experiment , and looks like this. He is quite old, well over a century, but as is the long-lived tortoises his species is based upon, this is not necessarily considered elderly.

Likes/Dislikes: He loves to teach children, but enjoys any age. He and his minion travel around to the various villages and towns in the area during the summer and part of the fall. The rest of the year they spend out of the elements in his comfortable and cozy home, with his library and fireplace. He has a fondness for many fruits and vegetables, esp berries, but strawberries are a particular favorite. He really hates being rushed, and it doesn't happen often, for he is generally on time. When Chanterelle frets and says they will be late wherever they are going, his answer is always: "I am never late. Nor am I ever early. I arrive precisely when I mean to.”

Likes/Dislikes: He loves flowers and butterflies, and tending his gardens. He also loves to read, and is eclectic in his choices. He belongs to a book club that get together every once in awhile, and they are some of his best friends. They trade books and take turns assigning a new one to the group to read and discuss once a month. These are almost always fiction of some kind, esp SciFi and Mystery, but can include a wide range of topics. His favorite authors in these fields include Shooting Star and Majesty, but also he loves the biographies written by Shadow Fox and the True Life stories by Icelyn Ashilldr.

Three years following his quest to scatter his late wife's ashes with Atreus, Kratos has mellowed out even further. His bond with his son, Mimir, and the Huldra brothers has noticeably grown stronger, with him now referring to them by their names rather than "boy", "head", and "dwarves". He is now comfortable calling characters like Brok and Freya friend, and refers to Sindri as (former) family to Atreus. He also set aside his pride to learn how to read and write runes from Atreus and writes in his journal about how, while he would never actually admit it to him, he is proud of the man his son is becoming. The former God of War has even developed something of a dry sense of humor, pointing out the repetitiveness in others' snide remarks.

Optional PoV: Third Physical Traits: Kratos is the epitome of what a Spartan soldier is in that he is essentially made for battle. He is very tall, being 6 feet 4 inches (1.94 meters). Due to his long lifetime as a warrior, Kratos is in peak physical condition of slender, athletic frame with a well-defined, largely muscular build.

Since adulthood, he had red tattoo going down the majority of his upper body and up to his face. On his face, besides the aforementioned tattoo, he has a scar on his right eye and a black goatee and hazel brown eyes. The scar was caused by Ares when Kratos was a child and tried to save his brother from the raid of Gods on Sparta. While originally having tanned skin, after killing his beloved wife and child, two of the few people he truly cared for, the village oracle bound their ashes to his skin to be forever a reminder of the horrible deed he committed on that day.
