not quite sure what all is in my fiancé's garden here, but we have a ton of succulents, some sunflowers, some herbs, and miscellaneous mystery plants we've been gifted/bought.
(and a couple decomp projects nourishing them)
I have a spider plant that I've had since 2007, a pothos, a fiddleleaf fig, a snake plant, a large aloe, a small agave and waaaaayyyy too many cacti lol. My favorite though is a medium-sized mammillaria bocasana (powder-puff cactus) that I've nicknamed Barbara. A week after I brought her home, she grew an adorable halo of tiny pink flowers, and because she is fuzzy and has hook-shaped needles, you can carefully "pet" her without being stabbed lol.

I have a monstera (Strudel), an echeveria (Squishy), an Anthurium plant (unnamed yet) and an Aloe (Cirava)
I have a small "blue giant" succulent. Was doing pretty rough when i first bought them but am glad that it has finally settled down. I was worried that it would have lost all of its leaves ;w;"
i have an red ivy geranium it was rough when i got it due to the store not taking good care of it but now its thriving!
There's only one for now, a chili pepper plant. It's been about a month since I got it and it's still alive so I take it I'm finally caring for plants the right way.

I have several varieties of kalanchoe, also known as "Mother of Thousands" and they live up to their name! They make little baby plant clones on the edges of their leaves, which fall off and take root (often in adjacent pots, lol) They also have cute flowers in spring. I also have aloes that my sister got from a start from my grandma, who died about 20 years ago, but the aloes keep growing and we keep splitting them, and we've given many of them away and we remember our grandma every time we do :)

Sounds awesome to have fresh aloe available at home!
I don't have any indoor plants, but I do have an outdoor garden I love! My favorites there are my Thai chili and ghost pepper plants! They're really hardy here in Florida, and produce a lot! I've been using their harvests to make dried chilies, fresh pepper paste, and spicy pasta sauce!!
Hi there, I'm Maple! ^w^ Come on over to my Twitter to see my (SFW) artwork!

I got a ficus bonsai a year ago that is thriving right now! Very low maintenance which is awesome for me especially since I tend to forget to water plants sometimes
🌷 🌷
I have a few air plants that live together in a bowl with a bunch of river rock in it. They're super low-maintenance and more or less got me into taking care of houseplants. Recently, I also bought some spider plants from the horticulture club at the university I work at, and they have some of the healthiest roots I've ever seen on a plant, so I'm really happy and excited for them to grow long and drape out of their pots. My partner also got some Silvery Ann, but he didn't realize it's a type of pothos--we have cats, so I'm going to take one of them to my office (and possibly the second lol).
I just finally got my first real lil bb cactus and I'm so happy about it. It was a nightmare trying to find a spot for it where it could get sun and not be in the cats way😅
Im crazy plant parent.
i have a few echeveria elegans succulents, one that outgrows its pots so fast i'm probably going to have to move it from the windowsill to its own stand soon. i've got an angel plant that i got as a gift that's been budding new branches! its pink spots are so cute, i'm not usually great at keeping leafy plants alive so it's my pride and joy right now. i've got some sweet mint and chives that i've been nursing since spring, and a little air plant that sits in a cute ice cream cone shaped planter, i think it'll look cute as it gets bigger.

I just brought home a new pet!
Ever since I was a kid, I've wanted one of these so bad but my parents wouldn't get me one for some reason...maybe because I've always been pretty terrible at keeping plants alive lol. I'm going to try so hard with this one though. I'm not sure if I should move it into another container yet or just let it be and keep it watered. It's so tiny and delicate... Also not sure if I should be out catching flies for it or what. Will it be ok on its own? Should I get some bananas to leave lying around to attract some for it? lol
Ohh I love venus fly traps! I had one when I was a kid and I tried feeding it flies I caught but it didn't seem to appreciate it. It also didn't appreciate me poking it in the buckets every few days to watch them close. Unsurprisingly, it didn't last too long. Maybe I should get another one now that I'm old enough not to poke it in the buckets ;'D
Oh, I've gone gaga over house plants during quarantine, to the point where I've created a bullet journal with sketches for each individual plant for their care and origins lol.
My pothos is taking over the living room, but my absolute faves right now are my monstera deliciosa (not pictured for some reason, I should take pics of her) and my alocasias (stringray, polly, and black velvet - I'm currently debating getting another one but I'm not sure if I have the space). I've also got some Caladiums that aren't in the pictures, and I'm pretty psyched that I've managed to revive them from the sorry state they were in when I bought them.

Oh man, they're all so lush and green! And they suit their pots so well, too. I really need to do a decent pot-hunt for mine and maybe motivate myself to display them a bit better, instead of just contenting myself with a "look: they're not dead yet" shelf :D
oh thank you!! 😊 like half of mine are just in their nursery pots but I should change them to terracotta or go buy more of the cheapo pink ones I've fallen in love with (they sell two pots for like 5€ at a local hardware store here, so it's perfect for the otherwise pastely look too haha)
I did end up buying the alocasia I talked about, and a pilea and two tradescantias / wandering dudes, I've always dreamed of one and now I found the pink variety for super cheap, I'm so happy. If anyone knows how to keep pileas alive, I'd be happy to learn some tips and tricks, my previous ones have all died rip. Oh, and if anyone is curious about plant-care youtube channels, the ones I mainly watch every time I bring a new baby home are Planterina and Epic Gardening, although going through [plant name] care tips is just, overall I've noticed to be rather fruitful :'D
Also , the Venus flytrap looks so gorgeous!! I've been curious about them :0

ignore the fact that the alocasia is in way too small pink pot, it was bigger than I originally thought lol. [/spoiler]
Honestly most of mine r dead I need to go plant shopping :,( but my fave is an aloe i got when I moved across the country, it's still really healthy n pretty after travelling 1000 miles in the back of my car lol im gonna be so sad if it ever dies </3
