I don't think they've tried a psychic but a PI was considered. I'm not sure if they ever got to hire one but I remember it being a very costly option. Frankly, I'm not sure how much a PI could do considering the information we have tells us that most likely, Ty's coworker caused his disappearance or was heavily involved. I think the main focus for the family is to find someone in law enforcement who will actually follow the trail that's already been layed out, but the investigating agency has blatantly ignored the case altogether.

Sounds like what is needed is someone to have a off the record friendly chat with the co worker.

I think jKat said something important. If the family suspects that he might not be found alive anymore, they can start looking for good psychics out there. I know a few contacts if you need that helped families in similar cases, they work online, but they only speak portuguese and I could translate the meeting if you need to.

Also, if the suspect might be involved in human traffic, you should take a look at international human-right organizations, like the ICPM, where you can report the missing person to get some international investigation too. It hurts my heart to keep seeing this banner on Subeta year after year, and seemingly no progress being made on what sounds like very obvious foul play involved. What an awful situation. :( I hope that one day Ty and his loved ones get the justice and closure they deserve.

Update: Human remains have been found in Mercer County. The remains have not yet been identified, and no further information has been released so far, so there is no indication of who it may be.

UPDATE 2: The remains are confirmed to be Ty.

While it's not the ideal outcome, everyone is glad to at least have some closure. Now the next step will be for an investigation to finally be properly carried out.

No cause of death has been determined yet, but hopefully there's enough evidence to tell what happened and take legal action against anyone responsible should people's suspicions of fowl play be confirmed.

He's living freely. Recently was selling stuff on Facebook marketplace so he's not hiding away... Could easily be found to ask questions again if the cops decide to take this seriously now.

I can't agree with you more... According to Ty's sister, the current sheriff in Mercer County is better than the last one. Might just be because it was kind of shoved into their laps this time rather than relying on them to get the most important evidence themselves, but I haven't dealt with either of them myself to compare.

I am SO glad he has been found!! It's so sad that it was in this way but I hope this is the start of actually getting answers to what happened to him now that he can be brought home.
