Hey! Sorry to be so quiet. Haven't felt well for days and just so tired all the time. But I am looking forward to Christmas and Luminaire. It's my favorite season both irl and Subeta. Things will be different this year though. Quieter. My uncles aren't coming for Christmas this time. They aren't taking any chances of exposure to anything, esp since one is having surgery in January. So we will not get to see them, and that's sad but certainly understandable.

And Rox and I are getting tested about a week before for Covid just to be sure. (Unless my allergies gets worse then I'll do what I need to then. But hopefully this mess is not Covid and will be gone soon!) She is far more exposed to others than I am, and can pass anything to me. Our friend David had Covid and was in the hospital for it. Then he got pneumonia but was negative the second time he went in. She was negative then but who knows now. She will be going to his family's Christmas Eve and my family's Christmas, so both families would feel better if they know we are negative. And of course if we are positive, we will miss Christmas this year. Cries But hopefully that will not be the case.

We've cancelled Christmas for us this year. :( Made the decision yesterday. Brother won't be coming up. And as it turns out he might have to work more because his current boss went to Mississippi for four days and is now quarantined for 10 days because someone tested positive for covid. I guess it's better to be safe. Hoping we can do some Christmas in April or May. Will see what happens in the world. Surely don't want to get sick or especially for mom to get sick (she's 86).

Yeah, so sorry about the extra quiet. It's been a more stressful year. Holidays make it all more so. Also, I'm not the most talkative on a good day. :) Also your HA is lovely.

thank you, here in our part of our world. It's different and quiet, I can't stand the quiet. I could hear myself think, mostly wanting to cause shenanigans. But now is not the time for that, so instead of causing trouble. A few nurses and I have decided to host a small gathering, for the children, the nurses in our hospital have banded together to have small show and bought Christmas gifts since their families cannot visit or give gifts.

That's a wonderful thing to do. I bet it's as much a pick me up for y'all as it will be for them. ❤

I've been a little busy. I didn't get half of what I wanted accomplished today. I'm working on getting my birds' travel cages ready for the vet visit tomorrow. Two cages and four birds so it'll be a little hectic getting all of them in tomorrow XD

At least Peep (one of my parakeets) tends to just allow me to pick him up. Jorah (one of my cockatiels) might be easy to get in too. But Navi (cockatiel) and Ghost (parakeet) will probably be the two trouble makers.

It's actually three of us. My eldest brother is here. We plan on saving the turkey for when we four can be together. Right now thinking Chinese takeaway for Christmas. Then some Chirstmas cookies and poppyseed cake probably. So a little Christmasy. Not the first time we celebrated later, but it's been awhile and it will be longer than just waiting until January.

I did the same thing but at the senior home when I was working in the states, along with games and presents as long as I got them to smile. That's the best present I could ask for.

I have a question for all my daughter loves to draw just as much as me. She would like some input, tell me what you think okay. She thinks she's not any good, I apologize it's sideways though.

I think they're lovely! My daughter is really into the anime style and drawing as well. Practice makes perfect!

I draw things from the internet mainly anime and manga-related I give her a thumbnail and she blows it up. She's actually working on BTS characters for me so I can get on my car

Speaking of BTS, have you seen this crazy guy? He carries around one of his many cardboard cutouts of Jimin everywhere he goes. And at the end of one of the Botched episodes, they said he went to Vegas and somehow got married to the cutout!

The vet visit went well. Peep was the only one who got into his cage easily. He likes to put on a show of resisting and then just allowing you to pick him up XD

The visit was a little more expensive than usual as Jorah needs to get his legband thingy removed as he bites at it all the time. We also found out that all our birds are female. That makes my husband the only guy in the house XD
