Outside, I have a very old family rose stock which I take with me with every move. Also, mediterranean plants which smell good like lavender, sage and such. A staghorn sumach which is some years old now also and good for driving insects away. And vine all around the balcony.

Thank you! I like the way this HA turned out, even though it was kinda just random crap in my wardrobe xD I'm not very good at making HAs, so it's nice when one turns out cool, but it's always by accident! I do love me some jellyfish too!

I don't have anything in particular planned for the early days off, but it's nice to have a slightly longer weekend. This weekend it allowed me to get on the road sooner and make better time getting to my parent's who I'm visiting for the weekend.

And for today's question about plants: nada. I'm bad with plants and I don't quite have the patience for companions that don't snuggle me like my kitties do. Hell, I'm lucky we can keep the yard alive! Thank goodness for automatic sprinklers xD

Binx is my favourite because it also represents my favourite animal: White Tigers (Sometimes called a Bleached Tiger)! ❤ There used to be one at a Zoo not too far from me that had a male one called Sasha, but he sadly passed away a few years ago due to complications with old age. :( He also left behind no cubs, cause according to news reports he actually killed the female that was in the pen called Anna - who was also a white tiger.

- Oh God tell me about it, it didn't last very long and sadly it wasn't cheap to begin with! >.<;

What was your last bigger investment?

I don't think I have any.

The last semester of college I attended, I made the grade and can continue albeit out of pocket. So this is one of my more recent steps to fierce independence.

what dashcam did you buy? there are so many options. i'd like a nice one, but i don't need like, a $400 one that can capture the detail of the dead flies on my neighbor's car ya know?

bigger investment: mostly just clothing. otherwise, i purchased a truck rental to move all my crap back home LOL.

What was your last bigger investment?

I suppose it'd be the laptop I use now, though technically my sister paid for it.

Which sense is the most crucial to you?

My personal answer: When I heard that you could lose your sense of smell and taste long-term after a covid infection, I was shocked. Tasting amazing food is a huge part of my life. It could even be considered a hobby of mine. But then I realised that up until now I was incredibly privileged to have all of my senses and foolishly take them for granted. I wondered if they were all equally important to me but they are not. Seeing is probably most important to me. After that it's a tie between smell and taste because you can't really taste without having the sense of smell. After that it's the sense of touch and least important to me is my hearing sense.

Absolutely love your answer! It's wonderful to realize how much we can really sense and get from the environment around us, and become truly appreciative of what we can do. <3

I would consider hearing, music is my refuge. I would plunge deeper into madness if I were to lose my hearing

On the other hand sight is pointless to me. I find nothing is worth seeing, and some bad habits could be crushed being blind.

oh, i see. that looks pretty cool, but those are some drawbacks. i feel like every dashcam i look at is like, "this is great! except for... extremely glaring drawback" i don't need anything fancy, so maybe I'll go for that one!

Which sense is the most crucial to you?

Hearing would be the sense that I could probably never handle losing. Sight, smell, taste, and touch would be weird to lose but I could eventually deal with not having them. Hearing, nope, couldn't do it. Aside from not being able to sleep or de-stress from my day because there'd be no music or white noise, I wouldn't be able to understand anyone in my life. Picking up on the different inflections people use when they're speaking is vital to my ability to handle my family, especially my brother. It would be like having to cross a field without any indication it's littered with mines.
