Is there something you are looking forward to?
Hopefully seeing my boyfriend for Christmas this year. He lives in Norway, I live over in England. The last time I saw him was the start of January, and although we talk mostly daily on Discord I do miss actually being there with him. :(

My mini "vacation" (basically just a 4 day weekend) in just over a week. I mean, I'm not planning to go anywhere, but between both my jobs, I've been working 40+ hour weeks with only one full day off since covid hit and I'm exhausted so I'm gonna sleep a lot and maybe make some crafts and hopefully get my apartment cleaned up some.

Thankfully she didn't damage anything important. All she really did was toss my clothes around, shoved mattress half off , and then tossed Comet cleaning powder on everything. I lost a couple cds (including my Sweeney Todd soundtrack T_T) and some work pants. Unfortunately for her, it was near the end of the month and the utilities were in my name. I called the landlords, explained the situation and asked if, because I was moving out so close to rent being due and without giving any notice, I'd owe for the next month. They said no, we'll just take your name off the lease and you 're fine. Then I called to cancel the gas and electric.
So I think she had less than a week to come up with full rent plus utilities and internet (which was in her name, but somehow I was paying for....idk how that worked out) plus the set-up fee for the gas.

What do you eat for breakfast?
My personal answer:
Usually, I go for soy yogurt with shredded coconut and fresh fruit. On weekends, I like making pancakes or I eat rolls with whatever bread spread I am in the mood for.
I'll answer all your replies tomorrow since I'm reaaaally tired after a day of blackberry picking (all those thorns!!) and making so much jam that I'm gonna gift some to my neighbours and friends! Thanks for sharing, everyone! <3

At breakfast time I'm limited to a cup of coffee to choke my meds. Now any actual eating of "breakfast" is at or after midday, usually leftovers or something hastily put together. Its rare I ever ate breakfast in the morning, except for when I had worked.
Aw, my mulberry tree dried up this season. But twenty years in the desert had its effect. Picking cactus fruit is just as spiny.
What do you eat for breakfast?
I'm currently dieting, so it's typically cereal with fruit, or failing that just some fruit - either an apple or a banana. I typically have a cup of coffee though, because I'm one of those people who are literal zombies in the morning!
I always sleep past/go to bed AT breakfast, so nothing.
when i have things to do, i like to eat something wheat-based, like bread or a waffle or something. I'll also eat cereal but i am the only person drinking milk so i have to eat cereal constantly if i want it lol.
soy yogurt sounds good, but i am allergic to soy. it is a sad, sad life haha.
I eat the same thing everyday before the gym. 1/3 cup of oatmeal with half of an apple slice up in it. With cinnamon, nuts, soymilk, and a drizzle of maple syrup. And a scoop of protein in water.

What do I eat... eh I used to have cereal but most of the time I just have either a pizza bun or a piece of bread. I'm not much of a breakfast person.

I see. I think I'm not in a position to judge the American police force but based on what resonates all the way over to Europe, I believe some changes are long overdue. And as far as I am concerned, that can be said about most law enforcement institutions all over the world.
Do you think there is a possibility of the two of you getting back together at some point? (again, if I'm being to nosy, please tell me. I just find it very educational to talk with people outside of my closest environment about their lives and experiences)
It's ok. I wouldn't go as far as to not invite her to family gatherings since it's very rare for her to be able to attend anyways (she lives in Canada) and let's just say... She has some mental issues (I don't feel at liberty to discuss that with others) which are making her life difficult enough as it is. Though, I would love to have a little chat with her psychotherapist in order to know how to deal better with my sister and uncomfortable situations involving her.
Hahah you really go out of your way to avoid people. I think in real life you would probably deem me wayyyyy to pushy because I'm pretty much the exact opposite. I am the kind of person who goes skinny dipping with strangers she has just met xD
Hmm... The thing about the clubs is a pity :/ maybe send them an email or something to let them know that in case they start meeting more often or at different times, you'd like to join. Through that, you can already establish some form of contact with people who share your interests :)

It was indeed quite a lot of fun. I did it last year with the same friend at the same spot but this year, the harvest was way better. I usually go to a (secluded) public place to pick the blackberries since they are basically a common good but when I go strawberry picking, I have to go to an official field. Other than that, we have a tiny raspberry plant, a plum tree, an apple tree and a blueberry plant in my parents' garden but the plums are always filled with bugs, the blueberry bush somehow doesn't carry fruit and the apple tree's apples are mealy and sour so we just let them fall to the ground where we at least get to enjoy watching the pheasants that will come in winter to feast on the apples. We named the alpha male pheasant in our area Egon xD
Oh my god, I'm so sorry to hear about your soy allergy! This is literally a nightmare of mine. I think if I was allergic to soy, my current lifestyle would be impossible! And the worst thing is that a friend of mine from Indonesia said she developed a soy allergy due to overconsumption and she was like "but I ate it every day and lots of it" and I thought to myself 'dude, I eat it with every meal!!!!' so let's see if that's gonna be an issue in the future for me... Do you just eat the waffle without anything or do you put something on it? Because in my culture, waffles are a dessert and we top them with whipped cream, fruit, powdered sugar, chocolate sauce or something like that but I don't think people eat it for breakfast. Would be kind of like eating cake for breakfast (I would be lying if I said, I have never done that though 😂 )

She is the wife of my "little" brother (who in fact stands 2 feet higher than I, LOL). Yes, we had fun and the hair is nice, I like it natural and summery. :-)
It's ariund 270km from here. I am not sure if I go together with my hubs or on my own. If on my own, I go by train and with my cat stroller. :-)

We actually met through a Gaming Forum, spent a year getting to know each other and then decided that we really liked each other. I flew out to meet him three years ago and we've been together ever since. He really cares for me and, due to financial restraints, has taken care of plane tickets for me so I get to spend Christmas with him. Though with everything going on it might not happen this year.
It can be very hard on both of us, but he tends to be optimistic for a whole army so whenever I start to feel down he finds a way to make me smile again. :)
guilty, I do haha. I workout Monday - Saturday and Sunday is my rest day. It’s my passion for sure, I’ve been doing it for years, it makes me happy 😁

What do you eat for breakfast? I'm not much of a morning person, so up until recently my answer would be "nothing". But I recently discovered oats overnight so now I have drinkable overnight oats made with almond milk Monday through Friday. And on thr weekends I generally still have nothing....but I should have something like fruit. I'd do scrambled eggs or something with better protein on the weekends except I have no A/C so my apartment is a bazillion degrees right now without adding the heat from cooking.

Job 1: 15-20+ hours janitorial +5 hours front desk/gift shop
Job 2: 20 hours cashier (or rarely cutting counter) at Joann fabric
And yep, just me and a couple of cute cats. No more roommates. Ever.

My cactus patches are showing that their fruit is ripening. In a short time, I can harvest and make the first batches of sorbet.

wow, that sounds so cool! i used to live with turkeys. they were wild and would wander the parking lots and peck at their reflections on the car exteriors. you had to be careful if you were walking because they're aggressive animals lol. plus they're BIG and if they chase you, they'll follow you for a long time. pheasants sound much more... pleasant (sorry lol). we have an apple tree but i am not sure if the apples are any good. we also have a small vine that grows passion fruit!
being allergic to soy isn't too bad. it's mostly that i can't have soy milk, tofu, or stuff like bean curd or mung beans. soy sauce is okay, and traces of soy is okay. i used to not be allergic to soy, like your friend. i ate it frequently. :'( it is a very sad life haha.
i buy the frozen waffles because i am lazy. cleaning a waffle maker is a chore! i loooove dessert waffles. there's a Chinese waffle called an egg puff that's served as a snack and it's really good! the little bubbles are soft and chewy and the dough holding them together is crunchy. they come in a lot of flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and matcha green tea.

I'm looking forward to my answer from the unemployment office. I'm afraid I'm never going to get it though, either a good or bad answer, because my former employer is fighting it. But at least, if they deny me (again, after my first protest), at least I can re-qualify for PUA and that will be something. I'm luckier than some though, because at least I was smart enough to put some money away for a rainy day...I just didn't expect this damn many rainy days.
I'm also looking forward to my dad recovering from his back surgery because I miss sitting with him in the evenings and watching political, history, and science shows. He's the only one I can debate things with like that and not have it work into an argument, lol. I want him to be able to walk normally again and be himself again.

What is the weather like in your area?
My personal answer:
It's quite mild here both winters and summers. I would say maybe max. of 36°C in summers and in winters maybe -7°C max. Usually not much snowfall because in general we keep between 1°C-27°C all year round. It can get quite rainy and most days it's cloudy bute t it's not particularly humid here. We don't get tsunamis, tornados or hurricanes. Sometimes a storm is getting a bit out of hand (increasingly so, shout-out to my dear friend climate change ) but it's maybe once a year that we get a storm like that.
All in all, for living purposes, it's quite decent.

What are your cats' names?
I think I've never seen a real life turkey. Maybe a taxidermy in a museum but other that I don't think so. They sound really hostile and dangerous. What do they even eat? I guess my knowledge of turkeys is rather limited aside from the fact that they are eaten at Thanksgiving and Monica from Friends likes to wear them as a head accessory. Haha you are right pheasants are more pleasant (don't apologise, that's exactly my type of humour 😂 )

Oh I see so do you buy eggos or something similar to that? Oh yes! I've had these! They are really good and if you get them from a street vendor, they usually add toppings inside like fruit or chocolate sauce 😍 I think they add rice flour to the dough which makes it chewier.
