celery is amazing. i also really enjoy onions too.
Oooh this is a tough one! I am a picky eater but mainly because I don't like mixing textures (i.e. crunchy broccoli in with soft noodles). I LOVE the taste of red/green/yellow peppers but don't like the texture of them, same with onions. I guess corn or green beans since I actually eat both but the green beans have to be mushy. :)
I do. I have a group of four guinea pig girls. :)
I like most vegetables, especially onions, roasted root vegetables, and brussels sprouts. Homegrown tomatoes might be my absolute favorite. My dad used to grow hundreds of tomatoes every summer. He grows a lot fewer now, but they're always super red and delicious.

Today's question:
My personal answer: I wouldn't want to born into a different time but I think I would want to be born in the Netherlands instead of my home country :)

Probably the Victorian era as if's one of my personal favorites.
The 70s so I could grow up in the 80s, (instead of being born in the 80s and doing most of my "growing up" in the 90s) ooooor like 2000 so I could understand Today's Youth. XD
I think that if I could be born in a different time and place, I'd really like to be born in pretty much any European country... that or Japan or Hong Kong. I love them all. Time? I think the 80s instead of the 90s. 80s kids got to really experience the 90s better and got all the really cool gadgets when they first were around. Plus, street fashion back in the day would have been more amazing if I could have afforded it.
It wouldn't matter when or where, I'd rather be born another species, anything but human.
As I'm physically and mentally disabled...I wouldn't want to choose a different time since I would most likely receive worse treatment. As for place...any country with better health care than the US XD
Present time would be better because of medical advances yet I would have been loved to be born in Hawaii.

I'd probably be born in the same time, just because it's what I'm acclimated to and therefore savy in. I also like where I grew up, in a great house the woods! But I suppose I wouldn't mind being born in Norway or something too. I just think I like where my home is, and then to travel to see more things.

Finally finished all my work and can now enjoy subeta again in peace!!
If you could be born into a different time and place, what would you choose? Hmm realistically I'd say the period and place I was born into has been better in terms of the standard of living and treatment of people than for most of history. Perhaps somewhere in Europe like Denmark, Norway or Ireland would be slightly better but I'd probably still encounter the same issues I did growing up here. In terms of the time, growing up has made me very aware of how much our attitudes have progressed in parts of the West since the 90s/2000s. Though, I wouldn't mind being born slightly earlier in the 80s if it meant that I could have lived a bit more of my life not in the tail end of the climate crisis and mounting economic slowdown.
As for the rest of history... I may pass. It really really sucked to be woman in most periods and places, even today. :/

Totally understand those feelings of not being social. I was drowning in work and only made time to log on to collect from Melody and do basic dailies.
Does your dog Maggie get to roam around freely where you are? That's a thing I lament about living in urban areas, dogs don't get to roam freely or independently a lot (rightly so to protect native wildlife/other residents) but it does make me a little sad for them :(
You should hide your spider around your own house at least to scare visitors... Maybe in the toilet?? Would definitely agree with doing your research on those extreme haunted houses. I can barely watch jump-scare horror movies so even a regular haunted house is far beyond my comfort.
Wow, I can't imagine living with someone who is that destructive. I am glad that ex is an ex if only for the sake of all your items ;-;
It's pretty interesting that the Victorians took spiritualism quite seriously which was how the ouija board came about. Definitely contributes to that association I have between the Victorian era and gothicism. Anyhow, maybe your sis can hold a murder mystery party and use the ouija board as a clue!
Your comment about what celery tastes like has lead me to realise that I am affected by that gene that causes food with PTC to taste bitter. Like how some people hate coriander cause it tastes like soap. I never knew cause I am fine with coriander!! I had no idea that celery has that. :P Thanks for the revelation.
I'd love being born in my country a bit earlier in the 90's (I was born in 97). 90's related things make me feel sort of nostalgic even though I didn't really get to experience the 90's as I was too young. I'd have loved to experience the 90's some more. I think maybe being born around 92 would be perfect. I would prefer this to being born in the 80's because I like experiencing the advanced technology we have now in my current age.
Today's question:
What would you do if a service you paid for was really bad
(e.g. there was a problem with your food at a restaurant or your repair/cleaning/tailoring service wasn't done properly or your massage only lasted ten minutes etc. )?
If anyone has more random question ideas, please feel free to share them with me <3 Don't forget to join the official ping group below :)
My personal answer: If it was just a conflict by itself, I think I could handle it but I being a bother to others is something else... It makes me feel soooo bad to trouble someone. :/

All depends on the problem. If the food had something wrong with it (undercooked for example) I'd say something. Though I generally do NOT like making a fuss. I feel embarrassed bringing anything up unless I absolutely must....
Bad in what way? If it wasn't to my taste, I'd take the L and admit I made the wrong food choice, ask for a to-go box, and give it to someone else later. However if there was no zero care put into it and it was not edible, I'd probably ask for my money back and leave. Or just try to figure out what was going on? I mean, if someone obviously didn't put any effort in and the practice was just bad, I'd never come back.
