Received blank items after inactive trades were cancelled

Had this happen to me this morning as well. The "items" will sit in my inventory for now.
I also got x2 of the blank items after a trade was returned to my inventory. I'm on firefox with windows 10.

Likewise, honestly don't think I had any other trades but I do have my item :)
I got 2 blank items after a trade was cancelled due to inactivity, too. They are labelled "not tradeable". o.O

Came here to say this happened to me too after a trade automatically cancelled. I now have two blank items stuck in my inventory.
Same here got two blank items back with my beanbag that was up for trade.

Yup, same here, an item returned normally but the other one is now two non tradable blank items.... I wonder if this blank item is supposed to be that item....
This was due to a glitch with the code for automatically cancelling trades older than 2 weeks old. The trades cancelled successfully and returned items correctly; however 2 extra phantom items were returned with each trade. No action is required on your part if you were affected. :) The phantom items will be deleted and the code will be fixed.

No items were eaten or replaced by the phantom items. This glitch gave out the phantom items in addition to the items that were in the lot. However, if you think an item has gone missing, please file a ticket and we'll see if we can track it down for you. Thank you <3
