Crocheting a popcorn garland to go around the Christmas tree this year.

I am working on making some 3d paper-crafted ornaments for holiday gifts. I recently bought a Cricut and I love it. ❤
I've been trying to make art that's just for myself again, it was really hard to do but the one or two drawings that were self indulgent felt great. I've been seeing TikToks of people painting, and it's made me miss painting a ton so that's what I'm probably doing next.
For anyone looking for suggestions, do NOT underestimate how fun bracelet making is. Having a bracelet that says nonsense is the BEST.

I started a twisted headband so I could work on something mindlessly while watching Netflix.
I want to crochet a pouch in seed stitch for my next mindless Netflix project. I haven't knit anything in a while and just got double pointed needles as a gift, so I want to knit a big chunky hat with a pompom when I have some time to concentrate.
I also baked chocolate chip cookies last night. I like making them with brown butter and finishing them with a little flaky salt. Christmas cookie season is coming. 🎅 🍪

I am making felt salmon toys for my three-year-old niece for Christmas. The fish will have velcro so she can pull apart the filets and pretend like she is cooking. This is just the first of many projects I need to finish in the next few weeks.

Hmm good question! Currently I don't really have any major art projects on the go but I trying to maintain a pretty small cast of original characters that all exist in the same continuity by drawing them interacting somewhat consistently. I have this bad tendency of designing a million characters and then... never drawing them again after the first time lol.
ive been coloring in coloring books. trying save money so trying not to buy much except the necessitates. Ive had some of the coloring stuff for years.. truthfully the markers need gone through.. they might be dried out.. there is markers, crayons(ive not used since elementary),and colored pencils. the coloring books I got with gift cards over the years.

i've gotten a new graphic tablet, so i've started reworking designs of a bunch of old OCs to test out my new skills/try and get more creative with their clothes. i'm kinda lazy at doing intricate outfits, so i want to force myself to add more details to everything i do...
I'm currently coloring this image of my OC:

I'm learning to garden. Still very much an amateur but it's fun identifying what's already established in my yard and gently adding new things to th mix.
I just finished the first layer of gesso build up for my snake painting that I've been working on. I'll need to add some more layers though to get the scales right. Also in the process of building two shelves for my office, and a water alter for my friend's shop that's about to open soon. And this weekend I'm going to tear up my kitchen floor and put down the new tile I bought. I need a nap.
I am slowly working on my knitting and crochet skills. Recently I crocheted a small pouch to store my boxes of Japanese Style Incense Sticks. They kept gettin' moved around in my drawer so I made a pouch to keep them all in.
