Around here, kids begin Spanish in Kindergarten as part of their curriculum. I always thought that was a bit early, but they do say that kids learn languages must faster than adults. shrugs Makes sense I guess.

Here we started from the cradle, it's no longer true. My nieces, if they don't know now, have mostly forgotten.

That is how I was with French. Didn't use it when I got back home (I was a travel nurse back then, and was working, so used it each day). and promptly forgot most of what I learned. UGH. Not sure why I want to learn it again, except I would love to go back to France at some point. Highly unlikely given the current state of things, but then again, one never knows what the future holds. Well, I don;t ...lol

Day 73

This was a homemade mask that a friend did. WAY too thick to breathe, in my opinion. My first time trying a mask. shrugs Live and learn. :)

Medical people have my respect, having to wear those things all day long!

Oh yeah! Those can get mighty thick, the homemade ones. oooooWEEEE!!

It sure can feel like it. And anything causing exertion while wearing one......ay ay ay. Way too much at times. I have to wear one anytime I am around people (even the hubs), since I have no white cells right now, and it feels like I am back in that NICU working. I do feel for those who have to wear masks in addition to all the other protective garb. YIKES! That is why my I use the respirator type. Allows for easier breathing.

Shame I can't just wear my CPAP everywhere. lol
