I played a lot of games on my iPod when the touch first came out, but otherwise, I've never been much of a handheld gamer. Of course, I'm home more than I'm out, so I don't need a device when I'm out. I've been really tempted to try one by the new Animal Crossing, though.

So I was sitting at my computer next to an open window. It was a beautiful morning outside; a cool breeze was softly blowing, a sweet bird was singing, and... a dog was whimpering and yelping somewhere in the neighborhood and driving me crazy. Now, I know it's not in pain, it's more like wanting attention sounding. I'm tried to ignore it, but I couldn't. So I had to shut the window.

The minute I shut the window, I saw something white dance past the window. Huh? My two cats started poofing, yowling and scrambling around the room. I jumped up to see what in the world they were reacting to. Is someone in the backyard? What's going on?

Needless to say, I was shocked to see FOUR full grown Huskies in my backyard!! How in the world did they get there!? The fence was closed and I'd never seen them before, so they didn't come from a neighbor.

Instead of calling Animal Control, I decided to walk around the block, knocking on doors to see if they belong somewhere. Turns out, they got out of their yard by jumping the fence. Three doors down! They had jumped through several backyards and then got stuck in mine. The owner came and got them back home. It was a very interesting wake-up call this morning. 🐶🐾

:O WOW! I wonder what they were thinking.... "Hey, let's get outta here....take a stroll..." LOL Were they gentle, and good pooches?

That would have been startling! Glad they were friendly enough. Guess they needed a change of scene! 😆

I like doing that now, but for years I glued them. The flying pigs puzzle was different: it had NO edge pieces and the box cover said it had 5 extra pieces. I laughed a lot at that. My husband wants to use the puzzle board for something. I can't say No because it's been so long but but but.... PS: What a Huskie story! What a surprise. Your Has your semester finished? My nephew in Texas said school is done for this year (I don't know if each state is different); here they seem to still be making up their minds. Recently heard that teacher assistants will be working until the first week of August. 🤷 I am going back to day 1 in bathhouse soon. We have a double day holiday Friday and Saturday. Oh well. I like getting past 10 when the CSC days start.

Thursday & Friday we have off for the holiday of Shavuot. Saturday we have off and Sunday is my day off, so Yes. Yay! :D That recipe is awesome! No flour!!! woohoo!

The delete was giving me trouble once and then the clear all didnt work and then it did and removed the one dance event I had been saving! But it works okay for me now. And it deletes the side event too. I hope no one calls him RiP! My son had named the newest parakeet Viper and he was vicious until he renamed him Pickle. Now he is a sweetie. Go figure.

Update: Yes, the dogs were very sweet. They were full of energy, and hadn't been trained yet, which is why I'm now sporting paw prints on my shirt. I like dogs, but I'm definitely a cat person, so I'm glad they returned home. :)
