I'm pretty sure you get your trophy and achievement at the same time. However, I'm a long time player and I got my trophy eons ago, before the achievement existed. So if is also a long time player, they may have also had that happen. Otherwise it may have been a glitch.

to see your trophies you can hover over your username on the dashboard or in forums. If you have that section active you can also see your trophies on your profile.

The special coins get used in the Coin Machine in Centropolis lower west side.

I know I bought a bunch of mega tickets for moonstone, but it says I have bought 0? Does it only show ones I have bought for myself? Is that why?

Years ago, I won another riptide after only vending 8 tokens. I wonder, I vend that machine mostly and I wonder if its luck or how many times you vend that paticular machine.

yep. You can see the total bought, but only the ones you buy for yourself are visible for the other stat.
