u should rest as much as possible not fully recovering or getting back in the swing of things cuz u feel ok nope not until doc Oc says so I know your hard headed though but stick to the plan Dr has set for u we all want u to recover quickly but we also don't want u hurting anymore so I guess I'm saying keep your butt in bed soldier drill sergeant Duane says so
i hope so soon... Maybe the gelatin battlers will be back soon

Believe me I know rush it, and it takes longer than it should. My first lesson was my foot surgery, I learned to sit and be waited on, ask family to do things I usually did, and so many more. I hated every dang second of it, but I knew heal right would and could only be done, if I did what my body needed. So basically since, March 2019 my healing time and activities have been ruled by which ever part was going through surgery and healing process. Believe me, its been a retrain my brain and thought process. I had to learn how to slow down like it or not. I had to battle depression and mind set, with foot surgery, I am usually the doer not the watcher. There were days I wondered why someone didnt water me like a potted plant. But this to shall pass just not as fast as I would like it. But would I do all 4 surgeries again, you bet with combat boots on.
Real hard to let someone else water my callas out in front of the house, because they have really blossomed with my TLC and give me pleasure when I ride up to the front of the house and see them swaying in the breeze so beautifully. My Mom would tell me, sit or i will nail your foot to the floor.
darn right u would throw a Grenade at it lol

Why depend on a grenade? When I am a crack shot with an M60, out shot the whole company at the range.
Oh I hope comes in for a chat. But knowing Laurie they are still in kick fanny mode, and figuratively circling the wagons. They cant afford to let their guard down, and I dont blame her tribe, its what I would do.
aw, yes we are working hard now and so glad you texted her. We miss mama Bear :)
Drama or llama? I'll take the llama :D
Oh an M60 those were fun to shoot I was in the infantry I got to shoot a lot of weapons my favorite was the 30mm chain gun on the M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle 200 rounds a minute of high explosive rounds or armor piercing rounds I worked on those chain Guns it was my job to make sure they worked

havent started todays yet ie baby is a battler tooooo

never got to fire 30mm, guess I didn't know the right people, LOL.
no u were out of the army by then plus back then they didn't allow women in the infantry

Nope they sure didnt, I could only eat in the infantry chow hall at Campbell, because it was across from the warehouses where I worked.
not on fort Riley women couldn't even come into our motor pool hell I had top secret security clearance until the PGW happened then the whole world seen M2's on TV no need for a top secret security clearance anymore it just became security clearance

well I am glad they didn't mind at Campbell the chow was good, better than at my company area. I must say, I never went alone. Made me feel like a unique rare creature at the zoo if I did.
I had more freedom to do and go places most other soldiers were not aloud to do, at that time I was the highest ranking person at my mos on post I worked for the brigade commander on all the M2 in our brigade which was about 400 vehicles I had to do a PMCS on a company a week ...basically checking it over and fixing everything that was wrong with the turret it kept me busy for the most part of the day well heading off to bed

You must have been busy every day all, and far into the night. At our warehouse, when we issued out items to units. We were in charge no matter the rank of the customer, they had to listen to us and follow protocol or get their fannies out of our warehouse. Felt nice being a PFC at the time, bossing around a major or captain. I always did it with respect. Although one staff sgt, i almost tossed him out on his ear. For running his mouth improper to me, as a female. I am not thin skinned and you cant be. but It was not cool and he said it in front of my co worker who had warned him. watch what you say, after he had said something about me to co worker. I told him staff you know thats is wrong, this is your only and final warning. There will be no next time, I will go straight to his company commander. Well after that it was yes and no ma'am, and only related to work. I may have been lower rank, but never took disrespect off higher rank either. I taught a 1LT to respect a SP4, too. I did it legit, and he couldnt do a thing about it. He had the nerve to tell me I was useless after I had gotten injured. I patiently waited, until the situation was right and taught him to respect me, or he would be the last person I did a task for no more how urgent he thought it might be. Another words, his urgent paperwork went to the bottom of the stack. I dont play favorites because of rank. He saw me, do it once and knew legit he couldnt say a word. After that it was please, thank, and could you do it soon. When I left, he said he was sorry to see me go and really appreciated my work. I thought, glad you recognize I work hard and professionally. GOOD NIGHT I promise to keep my lounger from floating and hitting the ceiling, in another words sitting on my six.
Thanks . Potion lottery is so weird and random. LOL I just happened to be in the game room and so I bought myself one Mega ticket. Crazy how that works when it took 3 days last time we were trying to get me a win!
I know about sitting around and being bored as well. Hubby got the virus from someone he works with and so we've been on lock down for almost 2 weeks now. Since I tested negative we've been separated for the most part too. He is at one end of the house and I am at the other. Pretty much living in the bedroom with an old laptop is awful boring. He gets retested again in a couple of days and hopefully it'll be negative so we can get back to some kind of normal life again.
Do continue to take care and heal up even tho that boring bug is a constant companion right now. :)
Thank you! I can see we are both cat people. Love your kitties too.
yes, a cat person and the slave of my house tiger ... ;) she brought me up very well and if she could open her food can alone I would have nothing more to say here ... I could not be happy without a cat, I need something that I need can tinker, pour out my heart and someone who is genuinely happy when I get home ... <3

We are certainly not cat owners, we are OWNED by our cats! LOL My kitty follows me around like a puppy and talks talks talks to me all the while. Loves to bring me her worm "gifts" in the middle of the night so I can step on them in my bare feet. NOT funny! But we love them anyway. :)
