But all joking aside I used to b a alcoholic well I always will b a recovering alcoholic bad things happened to me while in the military shit that a MF like needed something to kill the pain so I had a few good friends JD or CR we had spent a lot of time together trying to forget what we seen and what we did, but it just couldn't be shaken, life was hard no one understands what u suffer through they can only say I'm sorry that happened to u ...don't b sorry for me I don't have any regrets for being in the military I knew what could happen I know it was inevitable that is y I did it, it was always inevitable that I would fight and die if need be for my country for family for my love of this country and everything good about it.... but all that good I did for all of that ...cost me my own freedom .. alcohol was my master ... But now I am a free man

well you have been dealing with a lot lately. But seriously glad your free from your former master! I know there are things that you saw or had to do, remembering or trying to forget them has been a chaĺlenge. people run away from danger, so those that run toward danger as you did have issues. But you draw from your acts of courage to keep moving on.

there is a lot of things that could have went wrong but didn't ...I'm very happy things didn't get worse for me .... I've had support as well from family and friends and I thank all of my friends for all there support and encouragement as well ..

your very fortunate to have such a great support system. So many vets don't have that.

Hey. Noticed I had a mention (along with a ton of gifts! thank you so much ❤) and figured I'd poke my head in to say hi and give a little update. I'm still not doing great. My grandmother got sick for a few days. Luckily it was just an extremely minor strain of the flu but it gave the whole family a scare because of everything going on and she almost never gets sick. It's also that time of year when I have to babysit her to make sure she doesn't overdo it with the gardening. Found her out tilling the veggie patch with a shovel the other day after I'd told her to call my parents and see if they could do it or to at least come get me for some help.

As for me, I'm just always really tired and aching. Hips and legs are really stiff and weak a lot of times. My mental health recently took a turn for the worse and we had to make some adjustments to medication which had me really out of it while my body got used to the changes. There are a lot of other medical issues going on, too, but I'm not really up to getting into the details. Mostly I just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive. My energy is just very limited so I'm not around very much. ❤

honestly, I enjoy every day here, because outside it is no longer nice, except for a construction site that takes your sleep away from the noise, everyday life has become difficult. everyone is in a bad mood, nobody goes shopping properly anymore and then quickly and quickly back home. the ceiling falls on my head, I do not know how often I have sorted and cleared all my household, the furniture changed and rebuilt, I run out of ideas ... even my passion, cooking, is no longer fun. due to the prices that have become extreme, not many options remain to eat healthily and to be able to pay for it ... I always start when the phone rings late in the evening, because after 20 o'clock everyone knows that the ringing is only allowed when the house is on fire ... every time I expect a friend to call; I am positive .. what a bad time ... just coming here is nice to talk, play and have no worries or have to worry all the time ... I think of you every day, everyone who believes in a man who passes on confused fantasies and money is more important than a human life and I hope and pray that you don't believe him and follow his mental confusions, but that you listen to your common sense and on your belly feeling, that could save your life ... take good care of yourself and stay healthy, everyone ... 🌹

are you bored and love books? I love books but didn’t know that you can check audiobooks out of your public library. You can listen to books on your cellphones/ mobiles. How? Go to your public library website and look for audiobooks. In the U.S. look for The name Libby Very easy to use. If you don’t have a public library card call and ask how to get one, or maybe library has info to help do this online.

BEARS My hopes are that what ever country you live in is that they have this system available to you. I read your comment, I could tell you need something to keep you busy. So the bears have you to thank for giving me the idea to mention audiobooks. Hugs I hope your public library has this system.

I'll send some flowers when I get some more. I actually didn't realize you were using a translator and thought I just didn't get it sometimes. For face-to-face interactions when that happens I just 'smile and nod boys' (Penguins of Madagascar movie reference). I don't always get social ques (is that spelled right?) and even forget names of people I've technically worked with for years.

I'm actually very picky with which books I listen to on audio as I prefer to read them and imagine the sounds and voices in my head. I have many bookshelves in my house. :3 * happy mwahahaha * One of my favorite scenes from Disney is when Belle was gifted a Library all to herself in Beauty and the Beast. Like, "a Library? For ME? 8D " :) But seriously, that's a great idea to do the audio books. One can only read their own books for so long. ...and my local libraries are obviously not open yet..neither the book stores really... So I'll have to check it out. I remember listening to an audio book that I actually really enjoyed years ago, but it was actually on a cassette tape. ^_^' Haha! I think there's been a few that I listened to as CDs, but I've never done the 'download a book' before, so I'll have to look in to it.

oh you will not be disappointed wide variety of books to choose from and they are always suggesting books to listen to. Oh I get having a book in your hands the smell of the paper and binding. I have about 60 books in my house maybe more. If I inherited a library I would be beyond excited, my dream to have a room in my house set up like a library/ reading room. But audiobooks have been amazing with recovering from 3 surgeries since March 2019, and 2 being on each hand. So just being able to not have to hold a book for a long time has been so helpful.

Duane my buddy needs vet military TLC talk once in awhile. Plus hubby and 3 sons I have plenty of practice giving guys a talk, they get you talk out of concern and caring. But Duane and I joke a lot too.

But like her, my family has had to try and get me to slow down this past year with 3 surgeries that required I sit down and behave to recoup which all 3 surgeries required a lot of sitting and recouping. I felt like a house plant waiting for someone to add water to my potting dish.

Do find I do a lot of being a mother hen here and RL sometimes people need it whether they ask for it or not. Although I may make stand in a corner if he doesn’t behave his silly self with his telling yarns/jokes. Lol that’s okay you silly guy exercising your funny bone. Yes Duane adults can me put in a corner in my realm. I almost put 4 of my brother in laws in different corners, arguing like unruly kids in someone else house not cool in my book. My husband’s sister would have backed me up too.

Shenanigans squashing are done by skyping with 2 of my sons with one in DC and one in Houston. My third son in town, so never far from getting him stright. Duane join which ever line he wants. I like face time for squashing shenanigans, and pull up a chair to bring back memories of their not to tall for me to get nose to nose with them. One more extra in the shenanigans squashing line no problem, my sons can scoot over and make room.
