Party of three can I join, boy the lair is quiet tonight. I usually watch Dick Clark's rockin eve, but the entertainers suck. I guess that means I am getting old.

Hubby has been saying Happy New Year to the in laws in Egypt they celebrate 9 hours before we do here. Our older son is 2 hours ahead of us, and our youngest is 1 hour ahead. So we have had one long Happy New Years greetings all for most of the afternoon into this evening.

it was sweet of Duane to stay as long as he did - it was New Years where he is at. How fun for you to get to celebrate it that long :)

Well then he did good, I had forgot he has a time difference compared to me, too. Its been nice, I got to hear from a friend in Egypt finally. The cell service there isnt always the best. I have called, and texted repeatedly and finally heard from her. She just retired and living along, I worry about her.

Its after midnight here, I went outside with my dog. I should say, I opened the door he heard the fireworks. He turned around and ran off into the house he didnt want any part of fireworks.

She thankfully has good neighbors that check on her a lot. I strongly believe check on your neighbors, and friends you know are alone even before COVID.

My poor dog is right now, under my lounger. When I put my feet up, there is a space he likes to hide when he is afraid. Anything he doesn't like or scares him, he comes running to me. I have an invisible dog's mom cape there scares away the bad things. I need to open all the windows and doors, and get rid of this bad karma from 2020. But its freezing, and I might get frost on my fanny.

u know me getting sleep is a major task for me some nights I just can't seem to keep them closed sometimes just bad memories it's getting worse not better it's barely tolerable anymore but I'm fine with not sleeping I feel like one of the kids in nightmare on elm street I don't want to sleep so I don't see messed up stuff ...

yup - just waiting for this year to be done. Really - out with the old already.
