Okay, I think you misunderstood, or continue to misunderstand; I'm not sure. Either that or you're unfortunately illustrating part of one of my previous points. Perhaps you missed my prior post, but both of my posts have been reassurances that I too have been upset by things? However, again, I'm not going around shaming people and slamming staff personally or other users in outrightly rude ways. (It's actually this sort of let-me-ping-someone-to-"put-them-in-their-place" attitude prevalent in the forums that is something I was personally voicing upset about, tbh, among other things.)
To be a little more specific, users at one point were calling for to "show his face," "speak up," "step down," etc. in exceedingly dramatic and impertinent displays. And why? So they would have a public platform to ping, quote, shame, slam, mangle, etc., Some were also making assumptions about how this situation was being handled within the hour in which the situation was originally posted about. Those people have no justification for that kind of reactionary toxicity that explodes on others and makes no attempt to better anything. This is the toxicity that concerns me. That is what I did and am referring to, not that to which you are referring, I'm afraid.
If it doesn't apply to you or to all the people you're defending (that I'm literally not attacking, you or them, as you're pointing out) why are you arguing? then I'm not sure why you'd make yourself into something vaguely resembling that to which I am referring. If I say "many users" that doesn't necessarily include you and it doesn't preclude your grouped-together "many users" either. For me to say some people made assumptions, some people lack patience =/= ALL users that are upset herein made assumptions and lack patience and ALL of those users should be sorry (and that they're all CW owners, something I never even commented on?) (I'm upset too so I'd literally be one of these people?) So, no... No. That is not what I said. My words were "a small sampling of the userbase" and "many users," etc, and actually, I can apologize and that is my place. You're right in that at the least but to the rest of your point: I'm afraid I'm not "erasing (those) people's words and feelings (you're speaking for)" when I look at someone else and say "I'm sorry someone was unnecessarily rude and an unapologetic to you." That's me, voicing my feelings, regarding the actions of others as it affects the person to whom I am speaking, and that's totally my place to do so.
I'm sorry if you don't agree, or if you have a different perspective on the matter, then that's fine. Again, as I said before, I can respect anyone voicing their opinions otherwise (when they're able to do so with kindness and/or respect) but some people have not been kind, and in my opinion, many do indeed lack patience and understanding. Please do not accuse me of shaming anyone without realizing that's exactly what you're attempting to do here? And, frankly, I'm not sure you clearly understand that I have not made myself out to be on "the other side" of not being upset. A blanket statement such as what I made does not warrant the reaction you're giving me at all. If someone feels shamed by what I said, unfortunately, it says more about them than it does me. I didn't point fingers, call out anyone, or tell CW owners they should be sorry for what they're feeling about rules, regulations, etc. re: CWs (I actually never mentioned CWs at all). I said I'm sorry for how many users have acted to someone else (staff, in particular). The intent was to communicate/voice my opinion, my empathy, my sympathies, and the fact that I don't stand with those people, I don't appreciate their lack of emotional control, and I don't support them in their reactions. All of which I have the right to do and I won't be railroaded for that.
I'm not going to back down on what I feel based on attempts to make me feel otherwise when I've nothing to apologize or be ashamed for. So if you take otherwise from such things, then that's fine, and it is unfortunately what it is. I've owned up to my feelings many times and always will attempt to do so. I'm literally upset about things that have happened as well, as I've mentioned here and other places. Reasons I don't get into CWs? Literally all of the above you've listed! Why do you presume otherwise, when I never made any specific point on that aspect? Honestly, if you look into my post history, you'll see I've been SMH about this entire situation in bits and pieces. It was beyond a foolish decision that came from a decent-hearted place and it all backfired and here we are. I never said otherwise. And again it's absolutely within my right to say "I'm sorry those people have been rude." I'm not roping everyone together who is upset with the people who have been incredibly rude while also being incredibly upset.
If that doesn't clear things up for you and you'd like to insist further or be upset with me at all, then that's up to you, but don't attempt to shame or smear me when I'm not ashamed of how I feel about the reactions of those people. I'm upset by several situations and I've voiced them here, there, and privately in ways so as to maintain my voice without personally attacked anyone.
The general mishandling, I've touched on here passively, though more specifically elsewhere:
Consider this: I never said anyone didn't need to be heard when they're upset. I did and do think however there is a difference between constructive upset and what some users have displayed over the last few days. I never said CW owners have nothing to gripe about at all. But I don't agree with the way some users have acted and reacted and their supposed reasons for why. And I do not now, nor ever, pit niceness against fairness; in a right world, they never should be competing or in conflict with one another.
Could we maybe try to keep this thread on topic with regards to updates about the issue instead of arguing over how people should feel about it? Please? :)
At lot has been said and the venting has been done at this point. It's burying other posts with questions and information.
I dont know if there's an official list or not, but I found out that Romero NOVA Orrery Piece is missing from my wardrobe. (because there's one in my store, and I wouldn't sell it if I hadn't one in the wardrobe)
After going through my CWs I have 4 unaccounted for. I did have more, but was able to rule them out based on previous selling threads and gut instinct.
Now, for these four, it's possible I did sell them and just don't remember. Or they are just missing. I do feel fairly confident that if I would remember if I'd sold them in the last 4 months or so which means if they were there in the November backup then I should still have them. Should I just report those as missing even though I'm not sure?
Ha! I just checked the list and I’m in the same boat! Guess I’ll just make a few sP off this stuff. Congrats on purging so many items though! Digital clutter is a real thing. I removed about 4k items from my wardrobe last month, and I feel like I can actually make an outfit now without repeatedly going “I don’t even like this item!”
I actually cleaned out my wardrobe a couple of weeks ago...and y&;all have given me back a bunch of things that I had recently gotten rid of and do not want.

You have multiple items returned already? I have one, the Acorn. :( I know its a process but dang, really? You get repeats of stuff you removed purposely and got rid of and I get one of the items that I can say for sure I'm missing that got removed by the wardrobe glitch.
I'm not even a yearling here but I am getting the impression that every event comes with some major issue that really knocks out a lot of the fun of the event. I'd love to have changed my outfit a couple of times but I can't even see my skin in there and with the glitch any items that were neat enough to be worn regularly are likely missing so I'm just staying out. It's been a sad series of first time events. I don't know anymore.
Ahh sorry this has been disheartening for you :c I wish I could tell you that's not how it is, but unfortunately the site has always had issues like this. Honestly it's not usually this bad, typically it's just some serious lag on the first day or two, which they're experimenting with solutions for. This glitchy wardrobe was one of those experimental solutions. When the site isn't having issues it's really a wonderful place, the wardrobe system is great when it's working.

I did use the report form for a few days ago just to test the form, cuz that was the first item I knew about, but I noticed I was missing due to other people reporting it missing so I entered that item in as well. It hasn't been returned yet so I just tried reporting it again.
Actually, I'm curious: anyone reading this who's had more items than my above list returned to them, do you mind copy&pasting your list so people can cross-reference?
These are the items I've had returned so far, 28 items. All of them are items that I reported missing, but I'm still missing 14 other items that I reported, and 2 items that I don't know what they are I just know they're missing.

I wasn't missing too many, 22 in total that I could see using Subetalodge. Hopefully it gets all sorted out soon...I'm not moving a thing in or out of my wardrobe until all this is fixed up.
36 items returned, still 37 left on my list, including that Lightning Cloud Model you mentioned. All the returned items have been relatively cheap stuff, the more expensive items have not yet been returned. A lot of items, even the expensive ones would be easy enough to replace, except for this little guy:

I was one of the staff members helping with item returns and I am pretty sure they were starting with the cheap stuff and they are not finished. It is a lot of boring stuff but it does take time. The CWs are different so I cannot say anything about that since I was not involved. Hold tight guys!

Thanks . I'm getting used to not trying to do anything on the first day of events but grab a few dailies if I can. It's not great but it works. I think I'm just extra blue lately. Thanks also for the info I got to thinking they probably would with the least expensive and work their way up cause that would make sense. Gotta find some order of operations that will work.

Thanks y’all for posting your lists! From looking at your list in particular I noticed two items that I never lost in the first place, Silver Stacked Rings and Sparkling Quill. Glad to see they erred on the side of caution and returned items that not everyone seemed to lose! That was a concern of mine at first. I truly hope you get your Piglet doll back. That’s a lot of loyalty points.
And thanks for updating us that the process is ongoing! Helps to get a little behind-the-scenes info for sure.
All I have restored is Pleated Orange Miniskirt Pleated Red Miniskirt
I see others have their Ruby Basic Flats restored but mine haven't. I had them. I had every basic flat.
If others get an item restored and I dont- does that mean anything or is it just luck of the draw or?
