These are such tough questions, I only have ever played New Leaf, so:

Favorite villagers: I really love most of the ones in my town:

I've had Flurry and Roscoe since the beginning.

NPC: K.K. Slider hands down and of course Isabelle

Species: I guess, considering I have 3 of them the Dogs are my fav XD

ooo, Dom is my nephew's name and the fact that he's a jock just make Dom the villager jump up very high on my list :o Not higher than frogs though xD

Favorite villager is tied between Drift and Frobert. Both jock froggos with very cool designs. Being an outdoorsy person and athlete, I relate a lot more to the sporty villagers (with lazy being second). And I just love frogs. They're my favorite animal irl just because I grew up relating to them for a lot of reasons. But mostly the being amphibious thing. And my grandma use to always called me a naughty frog (reference to a story about a naughty frog who never listened to his parents). xD

Overall, Pascal is my favorite NPC. Wise, laid-back marine-themed traveler is everything I am about. If strictly New Horizons, then my favorite NPC is Kicks. I like his Oliver Twist inspired style. Plus, his mannerism and the way he talks remind me of a friend.

When it comes to favorite villagers, I think I have favoritism to Tutu. She was the first villager I was able to invite when I was able to travel off the island and her design is just the cutest. Often very positive and since I have her as best friend status, she frequently sends me letters with small gifts. I also spoil her by giving her cute outfits like the red heart apron with the big red back bow. Back when I first played the game on DS, Roscoe was my favorite.

NPC wise, I like Flick. Mostly because of his extreme passion to bugs and the way his dialogue gets over excited about them.

I don't /think/ ??? I have a favorite species of animal in the game but if I had to consider it between two... Bear and Wolf.

My favourite, without question, is Molly. That cute lil' duck can do no wrong. I'm happy to move any villagers out when they ask, but Molly is the one who I'll never ever let go xD

for now i guess i'd say pippy? she just moved in a week or so ago and been spoiling her with clothes. she's so underrated i swear

I adore Raymond not just because of his rarity but beccause smug's are my favorite type as well as cats -w- fancy looking cats but I would say my favorite original villager has to be Lolly she has stuck with me since city folk on the wii and new leaf on the 3ds ;D

Protect Aurora at all costs. She is the most precious.

Jeremiah is my absolute favorite villager, and I adore alllllll the frogs!! favorite NPC is tom nook, unpopular opinion but i adore him

I've logged over 1000 hours into ACNH since I got it in early April.... This is also my first ever Animal Crossing game. I had no idea I was missing out on so much. T_T

My favorite villager is Flora!! She's just so stinkin' cute!! I guess she also holds a special place in my heart since she's the first villager I EVER found on a Nook Mile Island Tour!! I also love Julian so much, he's a frickin unicorn! I love his dreamy astrology themed house too.

My favorite species, though, has to be the Cubs. I'm Obsessed with how adorable and teddy bear-like they are. Four of my villagers are Cubs.... I have Maple, June, Stitches, and Judy. They are never allowed to leave LOL. Judy has to be my favorite Cub, and also my third favorite villager overall.

My favorite NPC has to be Celeste! She's so cute, and I love stars almost as much as she does!

Pekoe is one of my faves lately! She's so adorable and sweet! Shep's also a sweety too! I like when he's shocked and peeks through his bangs. It's cute!

My ultimate favorite villager is absolutely Chief. He was in my New Leaf town and he always really nice to me lol. Besides him, I love Muffy (also in my NL town), Punchy, and Coco.

For me, you really can't go wrong with the wolf and cat designs. They're all good, all the time.

My favorite NPCs are the very good police doggos Booker and Copper and I also super love Rover.

I love my kitties Kiki and Mitzi. I also like Moe. I don't duplicate characters though so I only have them in my GC town and Moe was in my first City Folk file. I have plenty of others that I like, especially from the GC days like Butch, Biskit, Tad, and pretty much all the wolves. The list is too long to mention.

NPCs? Rover and Tortimer. I also want Farley to make a comeback.

i really, really adore the new villager additions like dom, sherb, and judy! i was lucky to find sherb on an island early on, camper reset for judy, and traded for dom! i hope we get more villagers added in later patches, but that's definitely a reach. the amiibo update to 3ds does give me hope though, and the sorta frequent switch updates.

i've played since gamecube, and my favorite animal type has always been cats or cubs! but i really love hamsters as a concept and i wish they'd add more. celeste is probably my favorite npc, and she shines in acnh ☆

New to Animal crossing with new horizons but I love my originals Lyman and Agnes. Also really love Bella (goth mouse) Astrid (glam kangaroo) and Wolfgang (old and cranky haha). Punchy is also very high on my favourites list!

Favourite NPC is Celeste, even if she won’t give me the nova star lamp diy haha

My all-time favorite villager is Blue Bear! She's so sassy and has my back all of the time. I first met her in Pocket Camp and made it a goal to get her when I got New Horizons, which I have achieved. ;-;

As for NPCs... I gotta say my favorites are either Leif or Celeste. :)

Fav villagers: all the deer, but Beau in particular. Love that lazy bastard. I've only ever played acnh and pocket camp, so does not count much, but the deer are very dear to me, each and every one of them, their designs are so neat. Deirdre was my first acnh villager, and she's still with me, and absolutely not about to move out anytime soon. Her and Diana's interactions delight me greatly, they're gfs now.

Fav NPC has to be Celeste, Isabela, and Orville & Wilbur.

so i've been playing animal crossing a lot since the gamecube version, and new leaf, and now new horizons. in new leaf, my first smug villager was o'hare. in new horizons, it was also o'hare. i got him randomly both times! (i really like o'hare)

now if i might indulge myself in a bit of a pity party... i stopped playing for a while because my switch got stolen and pawned so i lost all my save data. i was very upset. i had a ton of hours and 10 villagers i really loved (including o'hare) and got through sheer luck. i did recently get my switch back, but my island was lost for good. so, all that was relevant because i started a new island a few weeks ago and who was my first random smug villager? O'Hare. i seriously almost cried. i have no shame! it's the truth. he is my best bunny buddy. TuT

but besides him! i really like the bunnies in general. and the squirrels. and the ducks. and the deer! i'm so basic. ^_^'
