I shouldn't have to go looking for the bug report thread to find out that an untold number of my items are now missing AND that I might have caused it by continuing to try to use the new wardrobe because no one said anything except in an obscure corner of the forums specifically meant for -minor things- (this is not remotely a minor thing). Wait..what? Are we serious about this? Trying to get into my wardrobe to see what might be missing might be causing more items to go missing? And not a single effing notification? I don't have a massive wardrobe but even with it as small as it is I don't remember everything that is in it. I am so sad for the folks with tens of thousands of items having to go through to find what's missing but can't even do that because trying might cost more items. This absolutely should have been announced in the news A very small workaround for that would be to do a shop search for items you are concerned about and use the option to look through your account for it. It's a way to check for the things you can easily remember owning without the risk of losing more by checking the wardrobe.

As far as how to address the lack of backup data to draw from in order to replace these losses; I'd advise not using that terminology. I get that Keith is the bigwig. This is Keith's playground and we're just lucky enough to be able to play here. But this is very interesting to those who've lost items, especially CW items, especially CW items no longer available for purchase, especially in an environment where the moment an opportunity to gouge is presented the gouging begins.

I get trying to keep some calm during what is a high stress period in history but keeping critical information for the situation out of news is a bad practice.

UGH, I have no way of knowing exactly what is lost. :( I was not keeping a list of anything. This is truly upsetting....

I just can't wrap my head around how something like this can happen... Who owns a website like this for 10+ years and still pushes a major update without making sure they have proper back ups? Especially if this was a problem that came up during testing as some people have brought up here. That alone should've been reason enough to check that you have usable backups if things go south. I would be way too paranoid to blindly trust an automation or some service provider to take care of it... Also, didn't the previous wardrobe still have all the beta notifications on it? I remember it being that way since I got back...

I can't say I'm a very active Subeta user, I found the site again only about 1.5y ago, and I take long breaks. But since then I have put some real money into it and spent a lot of time during events to try and earn expensive items from contests... I've been mostly unemployed for a long time now and do not have much money to live on but I like this site and wanted to support it with what little I could. I think we all deserve a better explanation than "that wouldn't be very interesting". The first post just makes me feel like this website and it's players are not very interesting to the owner. :/

Luckily, I don't have a massive wardrobe, but I don't have any lists of what I have. I use the wishlist for what it's meant for, to list items I want as I trusted the website to keep track of what I already have and not just lose stuff.

I'm definietly missing this . I'm also positive I had this in my wardrobe . I still have it in my vault (I guess I got a double as a gift), but that is a lot of holiday currency/sp to lose :(

There's couple of other items I remember having, but I also gave away some old stuff during last luminaire, and I think I gave those items away so won't list them here.

I don't think I'm missing any CW's, mostly based on what people have posted and my memory of what I have. But one problem is that I bought quite a lot during the last pawn shop opening and I might not remember everything I got, especially as I remove stuff from my WL as I get them...

Very disappointed with this and hope they'll get everyones items returned... Also waiting for that actual news post about this, I found the thread through some CW and other group pings...

OK, I feel better. I did an account search like you said and several are listed just not showing in the wardrobe. Whew Is there a list of some kind showing what items are missing for a number of people?

Why isn't this a front page post yet? I've been fiddling with the new and old wardrobe constantly over the last couple days so if messing with the wardrobe was a key factor in missing items??? Why not at least make a post to tell everyone not to use the wardrobe???? Especially when there is a wardrobe-centric event going on?

I am a very casual player, I don't have back ups. I never thought I needed them, I've been around for so many of subeta's issues and I can't remember one being as bad as this, even back when we originally moved to ".net". I seem to be missing some of the same items I've seen other people post but it's scary to think that I'm missing CW's. I don't know if I could consciously spend more real money on this site with fuckups like this coupled with not informing your masses????

Is there any new info regarding whats happened? Are we all just supposed to send in individual tickets in for the items we think are missing and be compensated that way? So to say that anyone who doesn't see this post will never know and never be compensated?

Confirmed missing: At least all of my Delish and CWs seem to be in place...

I'm as disappointed and angry as everyone else is. I really hope that someone magically finds a way to fix this. It would take me a LOT of time to go through my wardrobe and try to list things I think I might have had. I have no idea where I'd even start, honestly. I've played this game for 7 1/2 years and I've accumulated a TON of things in my wardrobe. I have no backups or lists anywhere.

I am not a big CW collector, but I did spend a lot of effort and money on Delish, Vanity, Suboutique lines, etc.

Again, I really just hope someone else magically solves this and that it doesn't rely on me knowing/finding out what I already bought and lost. :( I'm very let down right now...and just too tired for this.

After losing 2 HA outfits to the invisible delete button already this week and now this, I'm afraid to ever use the wardrobe again... I'm just glad I keep my list on here mostly utd and keep my notepad file utd.

Check your CWs and for any sP items you know you own that may be missing...

Theres a very simple solution to all of this if the trends we're seeing are real: Staff should give EVERY active user a new copy of all of these commonly deleted items (sp.. CW will have to be dealt with differently). The data coming in is pretty clear that the items that were deleted were common across all users. I'm coming back from a 3 year hiatus. I have no idea which I had or didn't have. But since y'all fucked up so royally, you have to bite the bullet and just give all of these items back to EVERYONE. .

Yes, I still have that tank top in my wardrobe. I checked the entire line of them and they are all still there.

Well this explains why the outfit I'd saved for Masq over a month ago was missing the lightening in the background. I knew I had the Cracking Tempest Marble but it sure wasn't there come the start of the holiday. I had to change BG items to fix it. I am also missing Acorn and the Secret Garden Key. Hopefully, as bad as it sounds, the trend holds and people missing items are missing the same items (if they had them) it might make the process of determining missing items and replacing them easier.
