looks like we are all having problems with the wardrobe, I need to tweak my ha and add a non cw mask to my ha to enable to dance

I'm liking a lot of the improvements! Hiding the limbs is a great new feature (although I still dream of a headless zombie HA).

These may or may not have been covered before (forums aren't loading well rn) but here's my feedback trying to use it for the masquerade:

(Firefox 72, Chrome for Android) It's taking me 5+ minutes to load the page currently, probably because of the event, but it's not actually an improvement on loading times right now. Hopefully just event lag.

One advantage the old wardrobe has over the new is that it scales with window size (not well, but it does scale). The new one doesn't do that at all. I don't have two monitors, so having to maximise the internet tab to use the wardrobe is fairly inconvenient (since the other half of my screen is for video when I play subeta).

Pagination is good but I would like to see page numbers return, since it helps to locate stuff better (i.e. knowing items that start with g are on page 3).

(Chrome for Android specifically) The fixed width on the item list takes up the entire screen (regardless of portrait/landscape orientation). Didn't get far into testing with this because it took 5 mins just to load the first page and i gave up 5 mins into trying to load the items. :x

(In general it'd be cool if Subeta started using % widths and floating elements instead of fixed widths/absolute positioning to make the site look better regardless of window size.)

Other than that the only gripe I have is with some of the skins with transparency; applying a skin removes the base entirely, so skins like lotus or the experiment pet skins just show up as holes/scales, not your chosen base with the skin applied.

Cool cool. Soooo now my saved outfits are DELETING themselves as soon as I click wear....

Both versions - current and test wardrobes are completely non-functional for me. No matter how long I wait I cannot get anything to load. Putting on a mask and participating in the event are impossible for me at this point. Very aggravating to me that you all would start testing a new wardrobe in a time where a wardrobe item is needed to participate in an event?

be careful, apparently the delete button is lurking invisible next to the "try on" button, and I suppose if stuff hasn't loaded entirely you could be clicking it then it shuffles around as it loads.

I like the new UI, especially with being able to remove stuff? But the new wardrobe isn't functional for mobile. I use chrome, if thst helps, and I don't have a computer - so I exclusively use subeta mobile.

1. The avatar is all the way at the bottom, rather than the side, so no matter what mode you view it in - desktop or mobile - there's a lot of scrolling. The current wardrobe doesn't work in mobile mode, but it works fairly well in desktop view.

2. Removing items doesn't work. Neither does anything else really. Buttons feel unresponsive and the load times are pretty beefy. The avatar seems to have difficulty loading as well.

3. Sorting items in the current wardrobe via click and drag anywhere on the item is the only way I can do stuff. The new wardrobe only let's you click on a very small area to do stuff. It's not bad, exactly, but it's also not really user friendly.

4. Skins don't seem to work? As in, plain don't show up. Neither does base hair styles. I get the tool text for both but nothing works.

I wanna like the new wardrobe, but it's really busted? I hope they plan on having the old one around for a while longer, because the new one is pretty much unusable. It's a shame too, because dressing up my avi is my fave part of the site.

If the limit is not being enforced, why don't I see a "Save Outfit" button on the outfits page? I don't see one anywhere in the new Wardrobe. I had thought that was because I was over the limit on saved outfits, but it seems (based on what Keith said) that that limit isn't being enforced, so I don't know why I can't save my Masquerade outfits unless I go to the old wardrobe...

I don't have a try on button. Just wear. And it was 2 of my Masq HAs so I'm just gonna take a break until the event is over at this point. I'm losing my work and can't change my clothes to participate.

This USED to be one of my favorite holiday.

[Edit] Well I can get to my saved stuff if I wait about 30ish minutes in old wardrobe so it looks like I'm only using that.

I can now change outfits in the new wardrobe, but only for some of them? Others do nothing when i click to try them on. And even though the change shows up on the forum, it does not change in the ballroom when I dance with people.

Having only just logged on this morning (Australia time), I can say that the lag with the new wardrobe is crazy at the moment, but I was able to load my Masquerade Avatar...and I really like the way everything is being set up! It's gonna be good once things work their selves out.

i try to never ever complain because i know it's perceived really badly, so i hope with all my heart this criticism won't be taken badly -- and again i know you are doing your best (thank you so so much for the medal, but btw i did not receive it even after cliking "save" which is confusing but i think it means "wear"?) ❤️ and you did this today believe it would alleviate load on servers and reduce lag; but asking users to test / make a switch change that is so huge exactly the same day an event starts... that didn't work out so well :( i beg / urge you to not make the V4 / new wardrobe the official one just yet, until the major issues are resolved, such as breaking our previously saved outfits (the color on the wigs isn't following), some verbiage confusion, so many text overlapping things (ie.: what i reported months ago is still happening in the hair section) --- cannot see full names of items, and so many other things! i know it's gonna kickass eventually but i cannot use it as of right now. and already V3 was not really that usable on mobile but now some parts of it are worst than ever on a phone, it's misaligned so bad compared to the v3 which was centered and so on) --- guess I am just a bit scared because making avatars is my passion on Subeta and Idk ;A;

Outfits I have made and saved within the past 2 weeks I am not able to put on. Outfits with saved salon styles do not have the style when putting them on, they are bald. How do you save an outfit? I have a hard time removing items I am wearing, they jump up a level within the other items but don't go away. Under organize, why does it say "drawers here" rather than the list of my drawers?

Where the (fill in the blank) is the save button.

Going to second was Elka has said! It is FAR TOO SOON to take down the old wardrobe! There has not even been a week of public testing done, and very necessary, major fixes have not even been implemented yet. Right now I can't even "try on" old outfits, clicking the button on the outfit page does nothing atm. It's TOO SOON.

scrolling i really really don't like the fact that the items and worn items scroll independently of the page, because it obscures important stuff like the "wear" button, and forces users to scroll the page AND the box just to see all their stuff. very uncomfortable to use.

it would make more sense to just have everything bleed as far off the page as it needs to, then let the user scroll the entire page as a whole to see more. scrolly boxes only work if there's no scrolling on the page itself, and if users don't need to repeatedly scroll up and down multiple boxes at a time.

design when the window is narrower than 1400 pixels, the "Sex" radio buttons end up layered beneath the transparent part of the item preview HA, making them unclickable (you can still click the words themselves, but it confused me when i tried clicking the button and it didn't work). a little z-index change should be all that's needed there, i think.

i'm not really a fan of how much bulkier the new worn items list is compared to the v3.5 one. also not sure how i feel about the font choice.

the light blue underline beneath worn items feels like a weak indicator that's too easy to miss when you're looking at that big grid of items as a whole. maybe a full border would be better?

is this green going to be subeta's new signature colors, or is it just placeholder? cause i dunno how into it i am. it's very bold and distracts from the "blank canvas" that we should be seeing when playing around in the wardrobe. how can i accurately gauge how the colors of my avatar look when there's that bright gaudy TD bank green creeping in on my vision? i think something subtler like gray or light desaturated blue would be more appropriate.

hmm. I have to get used to this new format of the wardrobe.

But one thing is already bothering me . The place of the save button for the outfit. Please, put it back under the avatar like in the old system. When your avatar is wearing a lot of items, it will be a drag to scroll all the way down. Hell, it's even annoing doing so with the few items my avi is wearing now.

It would be nice if I can change the background colour of the wardrobe.

I miss the option to have more items per page. I have a shitload of items so being able to have more items per page is great.

I really like the new wardrobe and am excited for all the issues to be resolved! I do have a couple of design requests, however.

Overall I like it, but I do wish the avatar would be a bit more centered like in the previous wardrobe. The placement of all the sections also feels very cramped and doesn't lend itself to a relaxing experience. My other request would be to make items in the left list be able to be moved by clicking and holding anywhere on the bar. They can only be moved by holding the little multi-arrow symbol, but it doesn't make for very good usability. There also seems to be no outfit share function on the new one, which I do not like because I use that for many contests.

Also...maybe I'm alone in this, but I don't actually dislike the v3.5 wardrobe. It was laid out pretty nicely imo, the spacing between sections was nice and the scrolling was all worked out. This new one feels very clunky and not quite worked out yet.

Can anyone get this to work on an iPad? It just sits at loading for me. It works on PC and iPhone fine.

I found a couple of problems with the new wardrobe...

The first thing is that I couldn't seem to find an option to remove skins after I put them on. Clicking on the skin box again didn't do anything either, so I'm not sure what's going on there.

The other one is because I tended to use the Highlights function in the old Hair section to add colored streaks (usually pink), most of my Saved Outfits refuse to load the hair in since this function is missing. I had to go back to the old Wardrobe to load in my new Masq avatar so I didn't mess up any colors (and keep my pink streaks).

I find the over all layout a nightmare. I hate having to put in the color codes I need for a hairstyle instead of just using a color wheel. It is quite annoying that it that it gives you a default hair color instead of using the one you already have saved on your avatar when using a standard style It is way to laggy and I can't even change my hair. Once I am able to finally get it to show hairstyles I then have to fight with getting the colors just right and then when I go an add it to avatar it makes me bald and all that work was for naught. I haven't even bothered with the rest of the wardrobe, I can only imagine how awful it must be if the hair can't even function properly.
