So shrinky dinks - and I can't believe you haven't heard of them before - you use these plastic sheets that have the gloss taken off of one side so the pencils, felt pens or crayons will stick. You can buy the sheets on Amazon but I make my own from take-out containers I bought a bunch of. (I sand one side with fine sand paper) Then you stick it in the oven for about 2 minutes and it shrinks to 1 third of the original size. I always punch a hole in it and then Liz can attach it to her purse strap or use it as a pendant. I have to admit it is fun!! :-)

I thought by dehydrating the tomatoes and cucumbers I could use them in salads I make with beans, corn and onions. I tried the toms I already dehydrated on my lettuce salad to night and while I prefer normal tomatoes it wasn't bad. Just trying to eat healthy without going to the store every few days. I think they would be better in a stew or soup. Making White Chicken Chili tomorrow. And help Liz make her shrinky dinks. LOL! She never liked anything artsy until this stay home order. I always tried to keep Liz moving when she was young in hope of wearing her out too. :-D Or maybe it was the other way around? :-P

Yes they were just about down to the last 20 or so contestants. Very disappointing - but not as bad as no sports on for my hubs. :-)

So Sad :( I'm actually sure she'll pop in from time to time! I LOVE Your new HA. I'm always jealous of your ability. Mine are never as nice. Then again, I just don't have as many CWs. Oh the book is basically just season 1.. and the show definitely veers away from the story.

Bummer. Yeah I'm sad about the no sports as well! There was supposed to be both the men's and women's world curling on now :(

I think so, he had two really bad nights but last few nights he has only woken up twice. Much nicer than like 4 times and not wanting to go back to sleep

She's driving me crazy with it. LOL! But still I like seeing her be creative. Although I've noticed her creativity is mostly when I'm sitting at the table coloring - so maybe she just likes being creative with me. :-D

Dogs taking people for a walk, I see that a lot this week when I go for walks!

I love your HA!!! I saw it earlier when we danced but figured it was an old one because of the wardrobe weirdness. Shrinky dinks are fun! No matter how your color them they all look good once shrunk. :-P So today on our dog walk, close to home, there were people and kids on the sidewalks (spaced away from each other) with signs and I thought they were just greeting everyone. I started talking to them and found out it was for a parade of teachers. Huh? So Liz and I ran home let the dogs in and I grabbed some pompoms and headed back. I was thinking a few cars of teachers would go by but there were about 20+ cars of teachers with their cars decorated. We all waved and cheered at each other and it was a blast!! I recorded about 2 minutes of it but it was about 10 minutes total. I swear I was choked up the whole time. It was really fun and Liz loved it too. :-)

Oh interesting, I never thought about dehydrating cucumbers. How did those taste? :O Crunchy? We've basically had no fresh food in weeks. It's awful. Heya! Doing good over here, ready for this to be done. I took my son out for walk today and let him play in a grassy area at the park near us. That's all I can do for now. I'm used to going places with him, but nope, I'm not going to chance it now.

I go to work and come home. That is about it. LoL. My husband and I do not have kids, and do not to have them. I'm going to be 40 next month, and he will be 42 in October. We have a kitty and two parakeets. :) We are homebody's anyhow, so this lock down thing doesn't bother us too much. Go to work and come back home.
