The bad news is that this fire is only four days old and it is now over 140,000 acres. A new complication is that Mono Winds (akin to the dreaded Santa Ana winds) threaten to make the fire worse tonight with winds over 50 MPH. Many humans who live up there have horses, cattle, livestock, and other animals that also need to be evacuated. Fortunately, Fresno State University has a huge farm program and lots of land to house livestock. There are many organizations who are putting forth a lot of effort to rescue and house all the animals.

I'm glad you're safe! It's so hard to even think about the animals... :-( I had never heard about Mono winds before. Our winds are blowing west too and our power was blinking during the night due to some big gusts through the night. We're in a safe area, although at this point, it seems, no one is completely safe. :-(

I made Jalapeno Cheddar and White Chocolate Raspberry Scones. The Jalapeno ones turned out GREAT. My Raspberry ones not so much. I definitely overmixed when I added my raspberries and so it got too wet and they turned out like pancake/muffins instead of scones xD

I've been focusing on opening the Den slots ^-^ You have to do a lot in the coliseum to get the items you need for the slots. That and playing the Glimmer & Gloom game for treasure XD That's what I've been doing on FR lately.
