You pull the lid off the jack-o-lantern and peer inside where you see a small taper candle burned nearly to the bottom. But realizing the light is too bright to be coming from the candle, you peer closer and find two reflective items within: and a stein containing .

Lifting off the lid of the pumpkin, you find not a regular candle inside, but a small battery-powered one within. A closer look reveals just why. Behind the candle lay two items that are most definitely not fireproof: a book that is called [item=Minor Curses: Loose Strands] sits underneath a tasty looking treat, . As you pull them out of the pumpkin, you hear a chirp coming from next to you. Looking over, you see a . It seems to want to climb on the pumpkin you've just opened. Smiling, you pick up the imp and put it in the lack-o-lantern. As you begin to get up to leave with your newfound items, you hear a frantic chirping coming from the imp, who is now looking up at you with sad eyes. On a whim, you pick up the pumpkin to take it home. You've always wanted a pet imp, after all.

As you lean down to peer inside the large mouth of the pumpkin, you see that the flickering light is emanating from the book and bouncing off a panel of . As you carefully pull the items from the pumpkin, you hear a soft whisper of wind, that almost seems to be saying, "you have won."

You approach the beautifully cut jack-o-lantern and peer inside to see a set of fiber optic lights shimmering, causing an eerie sort of glow. Next to the display is a strange looking treat: . Puzzled by why such an item would be left within, you pick it up, only to hear a skittering noise and from behind the pumpkin comes an . It seems to have taken up residence inside the pumpkin and was the one who left the candy behind.
