Ooh, that is a good way to do it. I'll have to keep that in mind (not committing to it, but it does sound like a nice price point).
It was easier for me. Because I looked at the stuff and was like...I mean I wouldn't want to pay more than that for it so shrug lol
For the most part I did 'anything 250 and lower got a +50, and anything 300 and up for a +100' So close to yours, it's just that most things that I have that are in the 300 range are still medium/large and it seemed fitting. A few things did get a lower mark though because of what they were.
SO I was planning on finishing the last gift i need to ship out today (half way through so gonna still try) but Dad woke me early today telling me Amelia was not well. She's had problems for a few days. So we wound up going to the vets (YET AGAIN! 5 bill in less than a month!) Apparently she must have eaten the cats' food and since it's not grain free, she made herself sick and thought she was pooping when in fact there's nothing left in the tank. She got 3 medications and damn it another bill. I nearly cried at the price of over $300. But thankfully I asked about a discount and the vet said he actually was going to give us one since we'd been here so much lately and he knows we are struggling. So he gave me a $200 Christmas gift. I could kiss him, seriously. I mean even $115 was tough but it's a hellva lot better than $315. She laid on the floor and I knew they hadn't washed before I went in so Amelia got a bath when I got home.
I went back to knitting and discovered the wool was about to end. I've made like 10 of these socks and the one damn time I need the yarn so I can ship it I wound up not having enough. So I had to go BACK out and get that yarn. THankfully they had it in stock. So then had to go shower and change AGAIN! SO by then it's time to make dinner. I have only had about 2 hours all day to work on this one little sock. Such a frustrating day I'll tell you. 9.20am-to 10.40pm.... just go, go, go.
Oh my goodness, that sucks. So many trips, so many things. But so nice of the vet to do that !

yeah. He's a really nice vet. Also on Disney+ telly show which is kinda cool. Right? lol at least I can try to finish it now. I'm at 5 inches. The sock needs to be 8.5 inches and then I decrease for the toe, which goes quickly so hopefully it won't take too long.
Oh nice ! That all sounds like a lot of work, but that's purely because knitting is out of my realm of understanding.
lol well it is, especially that socks are really thin yarn that's about the thickness of dental floss on little knitting needles that my dad calls tooth picks LOL so it takes awhile to get to that length. I like making them but not in time crunches and I really need to ship this tomorrow.
Oh gosh that sounds like a nightmare ! For me. Glad you enjoy it though, I do hear it's very therapeutic.
Very similar and fair. I went shopping in there earlier for noses and a mouth :P
Oh no! I'm sorry that Amelia had to go back to the vet but it's very kind of them to discount the visit. Hopefully that's her last trip back. And I'm sorry you had to go back out for yarn as well. I hope you were able to finish but that does sound like an exhausting day.

Just finished and boxed it! lol didn't even bask in awesomeness. I'm glad it's done because I've got a long day today too so I now don't have to worry about it.
actually first visit for her. Maya and Baxter each had two visits o.0 IT's been a stressful time. thanks I hope we don't see the vet (minus Annie's shot) again for a long time lol. It really was and I just finished the sock so I guess I'm off to bed shortly as I've got another long day today.

it was still fairly busy but I got a lot done. I've still got to make mum's gift and a few other things but mostly I am catching up on things I've been making that had to wait till the gifts were done.
