It's how I prefer to prep most things, too. Sadly not many things that last more than a couple of days, but I love having at least a day between.
Yup. Not counting the cost of the switch too, which you need two of in order to play both games to trade between. Oh fun ! Scrubbing myself down after public time is not fun. My hair is long as shit and takes a good 12 hours to dry.
My dad rarely eats leftovers so like...we'll have the dinner and then I get all the rest of the food lol.
My dad will eat some and not others. It's unpredictable.

ugh :/ Yeah I hate it. Damn! Mine is so thin it doesn't take long to dry.
My hair is medium thick, but what's really making it take so long is that it's cold as BALLS. No heat in the air to help the drying process and I don't have a proper blow dryer with a diffuser.
That's definitely not a fun roulette. Mine will only sometimes eat some and I can usually predict it thankfully.

My direct boss was trying to give me enough hours but the owner overrode her - he didn't want anyone getting more than 4 days a week there and we're only working 7 hours a day so it's just not enough hours.
I can usually get him to eat leftovers if I serve it to him, but sometimes he has a mini fit over it. Other times he will eat it without me knowing, even though he knew I wanted to have it for dinner making me scramble to make something else. It's a fun time.
Yeah - my dad will occasionally eat them if we just fix it for him. And do the same damn thing where you think he's never going to eat it and then you go to and poof it's gone headdesk

yeah :/ it's tough and it doesnt really look hopeful for next year to get better--even if the vaccine is ready it'll take time for it to get through out enough of the population to be better and maskes and shit would still be needed based on what I read :/

A few weeks ago it took my hair almost 24 hours to dry. 24. Hours. I mean, it doesn't help that I fucked up and put too much product in it causing it to take longer, but coupled with it being a constant 65 or so...
Yeah, that was a fun time. I love my hair, but damn.
I should A giant moth flies out of my wallet while cussing me out .. Not. I should not.
So today I found out that 3 of my coworkers potentially have covid. One is sick but we don't know his test results, one was no/little symptoms and got a positive result, and one woke up this morning unable to smell anything but got a negative result.
I have to continue going to work (or I cannot afford to be alive) and I have to wait for a consult telephone appointment with my doctor to see if I "qualify" for a covid test.
The one who is sick but whose results we don't know is the one who didn't tell anyone he wasn't feeling well and exposed (potentially) the others as far as I can gather. We were not aware of this until several hours into our workday. They were not in the office with us and I personally haven't interacted with any of them face to face for 5 days. However the one with the positive test was in the office an hour before me this morning and gave my direct boss a coffee he grabbed for her at Starbucks - all before we were aware of any of this. My stress level is the moon right now but I will keep you guys updated.
Sorry for the late reply. Long story short Maya's been sick since Thursday. She was spitting up several times a night and all. It was awful. Monday she went to the vet and came home with meds but was then throwing up again and wound up going back to the vet. She had an endoscope down her throat and they pulled out a large amount of pine needles. Don't ask. we don't have a clue...o.0 guess from the front door. So I donated several ponytail palm plants yesterday and we did a big clean. She came home today. It was very expensive and stressful. She's been poop so he doesn't think any small remaining ones are going to get impacted--most were removed with the scope. She's got more meds too. She had to have a bath because she's been on an iv of fluids and peeing so much that she peed in the carrier on the way home. Then she got me and dad spraying us with it all the way home as she was trying to get out of the carrier. It was so gross lemme tell you. I had to leave the carrier outside, carry her inside, bath her (with dad's help) dry her with a towel as best as she'd let me, then wash the car out--yeah she got a lot of the car, then the carrier. Then I took a shower, threw my stuff in the wash and we got take away dinner. Maya looks a little less BLECH than she did on Tuesday night.

Aaaw, the poor thing ! So much stress and work, but I am glad she's doing better now and I hope she gets a full recovery.
yeah so much stress. I'm glad too. She seems to be feeling better. hopefully back to normal in a day or two. don't know why she ate them 0.o but it's clear we'll have to keep up the cleaning around the door to make sure she doesn't get them again!
