Yeah, I was excited for the first few rounds of filling my bucket and then shaking it all out and rinsing and then I was like...well...this is dirty and also I'm not finding big crystals or any of the really neat ones so like....are we done yet??? I mean, I didn't complain and I kept trying but my enthusiasm took a hit the less I found.

Aaw, that sucks. Actually, it kinda reminds me of when I dig up animal bones. I spent hours sifting for tiny bones. Maybe my dedication would transfer over. Who knows with me and my brain.

Oh no haha, it gets hot here (not as bad as where I grew up where it would hit 110 almost everyday mid - late summer) but it gets broken up by short storms that are like 5 to 10 minutes long so it's nice, you get a variety here

It's annoying, and sometimes I forget for an extended period of time, finally look in the mirror and have to furiously pluck for 20 minutes.

very much so! We went outside and painted some birdhouses. Mine is a pirate ship lol. It's not finished but it was getting hot outside. Now I'm just chilling indoors
