That's awesome! I've yet to be able to successfully create my own at home (but if I could, I would!)
A quick search yielded me that maybe 1-2 teaspoons of tea to one cup of milk? But that was just one recipe. Feel free to do more thorough research though, as I'm sure it all depends on preference. XP
Hope you're staying safe!

My go-to is usually honeydew! It's sooo refreshing, lol. I picked up some strawberry flavored (?) tapioca pearls from an asian supermarket a while back to make some at home, but I kind of wish I had just chosen the basic kind--the strawberry flavor is subtle, but it makes for a weird combination unless you add it to a drink that's already fruity.
Has anyone tried to make boba at home added to smoothies/slushies? Some of the boba places I've gone to before had that as an option, although I've not tried to make it myself yet.
That sounds awesome honestly. I have yet to try to make boba at home, though I do have some in the cupboard. (also, off topic but I am highly interested in what your avi is wearing XD)

Bubble milk tea is the beeeeest! But to be honest most of the stuff here in Europe tastes terrible. My go-to is Taiwanese oolong tea with brown sugar pearls _

oooh, at least you have options! And yes, I've honestly been addicted lol. Got myself another jasmine milk tea with boba today. XP The one you mentioned also sounds pretty delicious.

May I ask how expensive the drinks are? Because I paid over 4 euros for one last time and it tasted aweful and when I lived in Taiwan, home of the bubble milk tea ( they call it pearl milk tea, which I find waaaay prettier), they would give you the fanciest stuff for like for like 2 euro.

I'm in California. Depending on where I go, I'm looking at anywhere between $3.50 and $4.50 for a regular sized milk tea (so from what I can tell, roughly the same price range in euros). But I also get bigger sizes sometimes so that ups the price to around $6 usually. XP
Places I go to for milk tea include Tastea, iTea, and 7 Leaves.
If you've heard of Quickly, I don't really recommend it. To me it's not awful, but you can definitely tell there's a drop in quality that comes with their lower price range.
Methinks because bubble milk tea in other countries might be seen as something you can't normally get, they probably charge a little more (even if the quality doesn't match), but that's just a guess.

Wow... $6 ist just insane! I mean I can understand that it is probably taxed as luxury good instead of an everyday necessity and therefore more expensive and that the consumer group is much smaller than in Taiwan but come on! I think I'll make my own bubble tea tonight, I'm kinda in the mood for it now and even if I wanted to go out and pay for a completely overpriced low-quality one I wouldn't even be able to right now :/

Sounds like a plan!
I've actually started making my own Jasmine Milk tea as well! Just used up the last of the milk though XP. But I ordered some Tapioca Pearls so hopefully I'll be able to make some proper ones soon. XP

Nice! I hope it will be nice :) decided against making bubble tea and went with making ice cream instead -

Ice cream is also good. XD
And it was! Milk, jasmine tea, brown sugar, and some honey. (honestly that's a lot of sweetness but I like it XP )

Ice cream is awesome! I made mango nicecream - There is never enough sugar - I am obsessed with sweets

I was disgusted first time trying black tea with milk, but know I'm kinda addicted ^^
I know what you mean. I used to not want to have anything to do with tea before, including milk tea. Now Jasmine milk tea is just a go-to for me. XP

I love milk tea! I always get mine with tapioca, that's my favourite part. I haven't tried very many fruit-based flavours even though they look good just because I'm so used to getting a fairly 'plain' order.

I really like fruity and sweet milk teas but I don't love the herbal ones. my favorite is mango or peach milk boba tea.

Just straight milk tea with boba is really good. And an excellent way to see if I'm going to like a new shop I'm trying out for the first time.

Depends on the tea. Can't really say I'm a fan of putting milk into teas that are not black teas. Some exceptions can be made, like matcha. But can you imagine peppermint or chamomile with milk?! Maybe it's because milk seems to dilute the taste of tea and why it's mostly reserved for black teas and the occasional oolong for me.

Absolutely adore milk tea. There's a cute shop downtown that sells the best boba tea, and my favorite to get is rose milk tea with strawberry heart jellies. Taro milk black tea is good too, as well as matcha milk tea. I've had red bean milk tea as well, but the shop leaves the half-crushed beans in the bottom so I have a hard time drinking it.
