When I first took the test about 9 years ago, I got Ravenclaw. I retook the test as an adult, and now I'm a Hufflepuff. I think Hufflepuff fits me so much better now.

The tests always have placed me on Slytherin majoritarily, Griffindor minoritarily. I used to hate being labelled Slytherin because 1. The books always demonized that house (I mean all the named characters were bullies and bigots and rich brats, way to go JKR 🙄) and 2. The fandom hated Slytherin back on the day on Tumblr (gotta love that back then the equivalent of stan wars was broadcasting to others that if a stupid online test placed you on the "evil" house for being ambitious and competitive you're basically the devil incarnate and deserving of harassment 🙄🙄🙄).
But honestly, nowadays I don't care, I outgrew the series, and yeah I am an ambitious person who want to be the best, and that's not a bad thing, so who cares if I'm Slytherin? Lol.

growing up i was always convinced i was a slytherin. but when i took the actual quiz the big long version with all the questions, i got ravenclaw to a huge degree. it makes sense to me, just never crossed my mind before!! i'm a definite ravenclaw, but i have my slytherin side for sure!

I'm a Gryffindor but secondary house is either Slytherin or Hufflepuff. Frankly - most of us are very much a bit of every house. Children are so much simpler in their understandings of themselves and the world that they're usually easier to sort but as we grow up it gets complicated. Though I do love and appreciate every house and dislike how vilified Slytherin house has remained over the years. Obviously the blood purity thing would have to be released from the house's identity (and it already had been in the 90s - there were plenty of non-pureblood students in that house when Harry was in school)...but once you remove the blood status as a qualification or ideal of the house, it's just as good as any of the others....I could also talk about house dynamics for way too long.
