Welcome to Subeta! I find it difficult to believe that you are hard to like. Subetalodge is a great resource, it is probably our equivalent of JN. There are pets which are obtained via different means, but if you see something you like, feel free to ask specifically and someone would be happy to explain how to get certain pet species or colors.

There are elixirs (our equivalent of a Morphing Potion) available for many species/colors, but there are some which have to be crafted by different means, or maybe an elixir is just not yet available. Generally speaking elixirs are not expensive, so hopefully you can get what you desire fairly affordably!

Experiments are obtained Subeta > Darkside > Zapper - be wary that it can affect your pet's minion, your inventory item, amongst other things (not just the look of your pet)
