It is a LOT of standing. It's hard it first if you aren't used to it. I'd say it takes about 2 weeks to adjust. But after a while your legs won't even notice (:

Hurricane Sabine aka Ciara is hitting us today, the first gusts are already here and we await squalls around 125 kilometer per hour. The last hours, we tied down the loose items outside the house and weighted them down with heavy stones, and now we are hoping for the best. The last big winter storm logged 3 of our big trees, they were over 20 meters high. We saw that one of our roof beams is bent which we only could see from a distance now and hope the roof isn't taking off at this point. We can't help it now. I also hope we won't loose net. Schools are almost all closed tomorrow yet I hope I can go to work nevertheless. So let't make a nice storm design with this windy hair!
